Ep 140. It’s time for our first solo Q&A of the new season! In this special episode, I'm diving deep into some of the most frequently asked questions straight from IG. Last week, I shared a story asking what topics you would want to discuss if we were sitting down at a café. The responses led to a heartfelt conversation about fear, change, and the importance of true friendship. I hope that some of these Qs can serve as food for thought in your life, just as they did in mine. Also, thank you so much to everyone who wrote in — I love hearing from you all and bringing more of your light into the What's The Juice community. Please continue to send us emails and DMs; your input helps us identify how to best serve you and create space for the topics you need support with. You can also send us an actual voice message with your questions through this link below!

Ep 139. Three years ago, I felt completely lost. I was paralyzed by this feeling that my life no longer matched my purpose — like I needed to step back, stop the ship, and change course, even though nothing was “wrong.” During my yearly birthday reading with master intuitive Nikki Novo, she told me that my soul was renegotiating its contract and was ready to bring some deeper medicine to the world. “For some reason I’m seeing you at the end of your life… and you’re going to die being known as an artist.” As an herbalist, I was confused. I thought the holistic health world and business was my calling. I thought I already created my “thing.” But what if that was a chapter, one way to share, but not even scratching the surface of my gifts? For those years, I sat through my grueling death and rebirth, holding onto her words. Finally, my art came. I painted for 9 months straight, then woke up one day, decided to finally own my true gifts, and started writing music. Today, I have completed writing and recording my first album, prepping for release later this year. In this episode, I sit down with the woman who always sees my life coming before I do. Her highly accurate predictions have hinted for years about my journey with music and so much more. We dive into the behind-the-scenes of her readings and the importance of creating rituals around creativity. Nikki shares her story of telling her family about her gift and moving from a place of generational survival to creativity. If you, like me, feel you are ready to step into your natural born gifts but don’t know how to identify or share them, this one is for you!
HERE'S THE JUICE:
Why the relationship between our inner creative and our inner manager is vital to allowing the space for us to create – oftentimes, a certain level of safety is needed before we can make art
Identifying your natural born gifts and the importance of respecting them for them to grow
The deep power of rituals around creating art and identifying a practice for yourself to trust that you will be able to tune into your creativity when you want to
The profound importance of seeing gifts in others and the understanding that for a gift to turn into a talent it needs to be valued - why you only need one person to see your gift and hold that higher vision for it
Walking the line between sharing too much in readings and the importance of not changing our path – What Nikki feels a reading should be used for

Ep 138. Have you ever wondered when we learn to stop being honest with ourselves, and how this teaches us to suppress our body’s signals? What if learning the truth is unsafe starts in our family systems — and how do we begin to tell the truth as adults? Nina Passero, FDN-P and my BFF is back on the pod! Nina has genuinely had one of the most intense journeys these past 6 years, from losing her beloved brother Matteo, to becoming a mother, to unpacking the taboo truths about grief that we never learn until we have to. This time, we are sitting down for a much more intimate chat. This is one of those conversations that speaks to the heart of our friendship. We’re breaking down the parallels between motherhood and grief, we dig into the strength of our friendship, why it’s lasted as long as it has, and the key factors that have kept it healthy. Nina is one of the best humans I know, and I’m so honored to be able to share this conversation with our community.
HERE'S THE JUICE:
Do we bring hidden expectations into friendships? The role of contracts in business, and friendship – why they might have more in common than you think
The importance of expanding our capacity to be with life and death – shifting your mindset to understand the importance of meditating on our own death and seeing life from a different perspective as a result
The profound importance of honesty in a friendship and the key reasons why we often struggle in friendships as adults – bringing it back to the root cause to identify if we are operating from a place of fear
Why do we often fail to see the interplay between intimacy and responsibility? This suggests that responsibility may be the thing we fear most
The difference between keeping score and maintaining healthy relational dynamics – It's 2025, we’re not keeping score

Ep 137 Have you ever wished you could curate more magic into your daily life? Building a routine is so important but how do we take our routines a step further to ritualize the mundane? We’re all guilty of rushing through our days to maximize productivity, yet slowing wayyyy down allows us to find meaning in the in-between moments. In this episode, I’m taking you through some of the special daily & seasonal rituals that have helped me mark important moments in time, incorporate prayer and mindfulness to really understand what’s happening in my life, and shifted my mindset to see the beauty of what is in front of me. We think that the impactful moments in life have to all be large but the real moments are as small as appreciating warm socks, climbing into a made bed, or gentle movement. Turning an everyday task into something sacred can be the first step to shifting our minds to a state of gratitude. Through developing a ritual around daily and seasonal practices we can nurture a deeper relationship with ourselves, and our ancestors to make our day-to-day life just a little bit sweeter.
HERE'S THE JUICE:
Why we need to understand the difference between routine and ritual & how to use presence to transform everyday tasks
Olivia's entire morning regimen and the science behind each element
How to create sacred space through simple practices like phone-free walks
The transformative power of the Jupiter Kazemi weekend and how it changed her approach to play
How to bring ritual into herbalism and plants and the importance of maintaining an altar space for ancestral connection
The real reason slowing down will deeply change your relationship with daily tasks and the power of listening to signs and synchronicities in everyday life
The subtle art of noticing in order to receive guidance from the world around you

Ep 136 Do you feel like you’re ready to be the main character in your story — but all your life you’ve been in a supporting role? Are you trying to pursue your calling, but perfectionism and the fear of being seen are holding you back? Today we have a very special guest on the podcast for a much needed heart to heart.. this is the type of conversation that women have behind closed doors that helps us to heal and deeply witness one another. Noelle is joining us today for real talk on the intricacies of motherhood, the terrifying but thrilling prospect of owning your gifts and no longer playing small, and taking back your OWN life no matter what that looks like to you. Noelle is here to break down everything from starting her “Fit + Thick” career behind the scenes with her sister, to realizing she was worthy of being on the forefront too, and how the concept of “messy action” got her through it. This conversation was such a gift to record and truly highlights the importance of holding a vision for those we love and the deep power friendship can have.
HERE'S THE JUICE:
Noelle’s journey from living in her mind to truly inhabiting her body and the vulnerability of starting over and letting go of anger
How to take messy action, Noelle shares on working with her sister, and the unexpected challenges that pushed her forward.
Unpacking the realizations Noelle had to have to step into her own story – understanding that you can only meet people as deeply as you have met yourself.
Why motherhood has the potential to push us to become better versions of ourselves and tangible tools to harness that potential if you are feeling overwhelmed
Recognizing that everything, cleaning, cooking, playing with your child, can be an opportunity for nervous system work.
Truly understanding that our parents’ nervous system dysregulation is not ours to carry.
Learning to meet yourself with curiosity, unlearning what no longer serves you, and having the courage to be honest about what we are holding on to.
How believing in someone, before they believe in themselves, can be life-changing and the importance of holding a high vision for those we love

Ep. 135 Do you feel like there’s often a rebellious, childlike part of you calling the shots despite your best efforts to take action aligned with your goals? Does she procrastinate to the point of self-sabotage, or go for the box of cookies when you know a solid meal is what you need? Does this rebellion come out when you’re working to an extreme, being especially hard on yourself or tying your worth solely to your productivity? This is where “reparenting” ourselves comes in: the part of adulthood where we realize it’s our job to be our own parent, but we have no idea where to start when a parent was also unkind to themselves or not in touch with their own worth and needs. Over the last four years, I've slowly learned how to answer the question, "what do I need right now?" — sometimes it’s good old discipline, other times it’s connection or rest. I found that I got to recreate my own “inner mother” who was capable of being honest and curious enough to make the call from a place of trust and self knowing, but it wasn’t easy to get there. I'm walking you through every step I had to go through to move from self-criticism to self-parenting.
HERE'S THE JUICE:
Could letting go of perfectionism and competition help us rediscover joy and authentic self-expression?
How to shift away from productivity-based self-worth to intrinsic self-worth & why treating yourself with kindness can be used as a tool to build self-trust over time
Practical steps for developing your inner mother voice through accessible day-to-day actions such as unstructured play to explore creativity
How to self-regulate and break the cycles of self-avoidance we might have formed in our childhood
Ways to recognize when your inner child is running the show and possibly hindering your day to day without us even realizing it

Ep 134. I recently had a transformative experience where I felt called to lay down before bed and allow my “higher self” to thank me for all the work I’ve done up to this point. I had the thought to voice record the process, where I simply talked to myself and said all the things we never acknowledge or validate out loud but need to hear — not from the outside world, but from ourselves. Afterwards, I decided to plug the transcript of the voice recording into ChatGPT… and I was shocked at how valuable it was to not only have this healing moment and my own words recollected in such detail, but to have actual helpful prompts that made this like a therapy session with valuable take aways & homework. While I don’t believe that AI should be creating our visual artwork or writing our blog posts, I've found that it can be incredibly useful for self reflection and introspection and I wanted to share the exact formula of how I completed this process, as it was so deeply healing for my inner child to hear these words come out of my mouth. So this week, I’m sharing the exact therapeutic practice that I created (with AI!) to connect with my higher self. If you’re feeling called to jump back into a creative flow or are looking for a cost conscious, unconventional tool to help you in your personal growth, this is the perfect place to start.
HERE'S THE JUICE:
Why understanding Internal Family Systems (IFS) can unlock deep healing by finally embracing all parts of yourself
The importance of “talking to yourself” out loud and letting the wise voice inside of you speak with direct insights, appreciation, and advice
How to turn this self-conversation into actionable prompts that will further your mental health using AI
How to build better self awareness and why it’s necessary for lasting behavioral change
The hidden power of rest and why it’s just as crucial as productivity for person growth - understanding the path that got you to where you are may not be the path that elevates you to your next step in life
What exactly does AI have in common with talk therapy? Could it potentially act as a cost effective mental health tool?

Ep 133. In today's solo episode, I'm breaking down how I went from relying on cannabis daily for just shy of 10 years, to giving it up almost entirely. I'm discussing the two questions I had to ask myself to start this journey: who am I when everything else is stripped away (and what am I willing to do to meet her), and who am I when I let the pain I’m avoiding change me? I’ll be sharing the pros and cons – including the way this plant initially supported me, the confusion between its role in stress relief and helping us put off changing stressful conditions, tools I used during the quitting period, Traditional Chinese Medicine's view of habitual use, why this plant helps us to access our creativity, and how to believe that you can still be creative without it. Lastly, I'm sharing my relationship with the plant today and whether or not it still has a place in my life.
HERE'S THE JUICE
Olivia's personal journey with cannabis from day one through her decade-long reliance, all the way to making her decision to quit
How the nature of cannabis is dissociative, which can be beneficial for certain conditions with a fine line of becoming maladaptive
Why a desire to use cannabis or any other substance is really your nervous system seeking safety and how to have immense compassion for yourself
How cannabis can become a crutch for socializing and connecting with people
Traditional Chinese Medicine’s interesting take on cannabis use
Olivia’s top tools for quitting cannabis and how to navigate withdrawal symptoms
Why your “addictive personality” may actually be an element of your giftedness

Ep 132. Why are friendship breakups even more dramatic than romantic ones, and how might they teach us about deeper patterns of behavior we may need to break? In this solo episode, I share my experience of losing close friendships, as well as how I’ve maintained and nurtured long-term, healthy relationships. I'm breaking down the #1 sign I look for in myself and others to know if there is capacity to be a “good friend,” why we often enter dynamics that recreate the one we shared with our mother until the dynamic becomes conscious, and why sometimes it “has to be dramatic” in order for the pattern to be witnessed and broken. Whether you're currently struggling with friendships or looking to deepen your existing relationships, I hope this episode will make you feel a whole lot less messy – and a lot more understood.
HERE'S THE JUICE
The number 1 sign of a healthy friendship
How to have both compassion & high standards for the relationships in your life
How to know if it’s just a mistake, or a repeated pattern of behavior
How to avoid friendship breakups in the future by looking for red flags in your OWN behavior, not theirs, when you’re around them
The importance of personal responsibility and how to develop this lens in conflict
How to grow together in a long term friendship without growing apart
How to create a relationship with yourself first to truly enjoy connection, rather than “fulfill a need”
The ways childhood wounds and "mother wounds" shape our friendship patterns
Why it's okay to be "choosy" about who you let into your inner circle
Why loneliness can actually be an unexpected medicine

Ep 131. Why are chronic symptoms more common among “type A” perfectionists who struggle to slow down? How does the nervous system directly connect to histamine intolerance? We are back with Michelle Shapiro, RD for a deeply moving conversation on what it actually means to “regulate your nervous system” in a world where social media makes it look easy. If you’re dealing with mystery, chronic histamine symptoms – this is the missing piece you need to know in order to begin feeling safe in your body once again. In this part 2 deep dive, Michelle Shapiro explains the crucial connection between anxiety, nervous system dysregulation and chronic immune activation. She shares why the path to healing requires both practical tools to reduce symptoms in the moment AND addressing the emotional patterns that keep our bodies stuck in fight-or-flight mode. Michelle also walks us through how to “separate the symptoms from the response to the symptom,” build nervous system resilience by learning how to say no, owning your “weird,” setting boundaries, and embracing your authentic needs. For anyone feeling trapped in a spiral of unbearable symptoms, this episode provides a road map for creating safety within your body, even when you are at your lowest.
HERE'S THE JUICE:
Why nervous system activation could be the missing piece to healing histamine issues
Why chronic illness often appears in "hypervigilant people pleasers"
The paradox of spiritual healing vs. immediate symptom management
How trauma and childhood experiences shape our threat response
The importance of creating physical and emotional safety in order to heal
Why relationships and community support are crucial for nervous system regulation
Tools and tips to expand your nervous system capacity while still living your life

Ep 130. Welcome to Season 6, and the mark of a brand new chapter for What’s The Juice Podcast. Wellness is changing, humanity as a collective is changing… each and every one of us are going through huge internal shifts right now. When I sat with the question, ‘how can I be of maximum service to my community at this very moment?’ I realized that at least for right now, that doesn’t look like another episode about your circadian rhythm. It doesn’t look like another complicated protocol to add to your to do list. In the age of information overload, we now know what we “should” be doing to take care of ourselves – I’m more interested in unpacking the deeper, not-so-palatable reasons as to why we sometimes can’t or don’t. The things we think we’re alone in carrying, like shame or guilt, that prevent us from hearing our own inner wisdom and voices about what our bodies actually need separate from an IG perfect morning routine.
I’m ready to show up as a fuller, wiser version of myself and speak even my ugliest truths because telling our stories is what free us from that shame. This means I also get to speak to the fullness of YOU, and the big life you’re working so hard to create by facing your deepest layers. Let’s talk about all the things we struggle with behind closed doors: how to build a real relationship with yourself after a lifetime at odds, candid chats about vices, friendship breakups, and rediscovering your inner child so that she can get you through this often magical but sometimes extremely difficult life. Come along for solos, Q&As, conversations between everyone from thought leaders to my very best friends.
Starting off strong, today we’re chatting about periods of death and rebirth. Massive transitions are a part of life, but how do we best care for ourselves during a time when it feels like the world we once knew is ending? What do you do when you wake up one day and your life no longer fits – you know you need to say goodbye to the way things are, but you’re terrified of jumping when you don’t know what’s next? I'm breaking down my last couple of years and the terrifying experience of letting go, sitting in nothingness, and trusting that something new will be born. I’ll be sharing the very best wisdom I learned from the pain. Whether you're ready for a change in your career, relationships, or sense of identity, this episode is a comforting reminder that growth is necessary, nonlinear, and ultimately SO worth it.
HERE'S THE JUICE
Why we’re so afraid of change and how to understand that the “death” before a rebirth is necessary
What to do when you know a part of your identity has expired, but you can’t quite see what’s next yet
How to know when you're entering a period of restructuring and change (and the signs your life might be giving you that it's time to course-correct)
Why major life pivots are essential even if our society doesn't value us during them – how to train your brain to know that discomfort and pain come before growth and birth
Embracing the idea that your worth isn't dependent on your creations and productivity, but rather your innate ability to create in the first place
How to navigate misalignment and have patience for ourselves when we don’t listen to our inner voice and fall off our path
The power of the unknown and why jumping into it is sometimes the only way forward
How to create space for rest and reflection in small ways on a day-to-day basis & why nature can be an influential teacher and source of comfort during transitions
