Dr Stacy Sims is a physiologist who specialises in women's fitness, performance, nutrition and hormone related health. This seems ridiculous given the fact that women make up about 50% of the global population, but the vast majority of scientific data we have has been derived by studying only men, which means theres a glaring lack of science-based information thats specific to women. And this often means women are doing the wrong training, eating the wrong food, not reaching their full potential, and/or often suffering unnecessary discomfort and pain. Dr Sims' mission is to redress that imbalance.

People have been taking supplements of one form or another for thousands of years. Today the supplement industry is enormous with every kind of supplement available with the cick of a mouse of swipe on our phone.
The question that intrigues me though is this, are supplements really necessary, or is food ebough?In this video I explore the history of supplement use, plus compare supplements with food when in comes to nutrient content,density and their bioavailability.

In 1982 Angela Cavallo lifted a Chevy Impala off her son after it fell off a jack, this was't an isolated incident and there have been many examples of people demonstrating superhuman strength. How are some regular people capable of amazing feats of superhuman strength ? I lift the lid on the evolutionary origins of super human strength, and show how the nervous system, the hormone system and the muscles are all involved. I also look at how our ancestors developed a survival toolkit which literally allowed them to flee danger and I look at the role of adrenaline plays in facilitating superhuman strength.
