If we could just be consistent we would be happier, healthier, more successful.
But having a goal or a mindset of being consistent can actually cause more harm than good.
You don’t have to be consistent to get what you want and what you need.
Today I share how my attempts at consistency led me to overwhelm and burnout, and what I learned to do instead.
We get to discuss what is “normal”.
After admitting to something that made me feel like I was a terrible mom, I use to ask myself and my therapist “is this normal?”
The answer was always “yes.”
But I didn’t believe it.
Because no one else was talking about it.
In today’s episode I reveal 5 uncomfortable thoughts and feelings I have about motherhood and I assure you they are ALL normal.
Well, all but one.
AND
Even better, the back talk from your kids does not mean you have failed as a parent.
On the contrary, it actually means you have raised healthy kids.
