La Vuelta a España 2024 is well underway! After an individual time trial, two sprint stages and a first mountain stage it's time to review the start of Spain's Grand Tour. Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates) was the surprising first red jersey wearer in Lisboa. One day later he gave the jersey away to Wout van Aert (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), who got beaten on the line by Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck). The Belgian albatross wasn't scared and beat the Aussie the day after. On the fourth day, Primoz Roglic (Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe) was victorious on the steep slopes of Pico Villuercas. After the big Tadej Pogacar shows at Giro d'Italia and Tour de France it's now time for three weeks of racing through Spain (and Portugal). La Vuelta 2024 promises to be an open race with a lot of GC contenders fighting for the win. With a fourth overall victory, Primoz Roglic could equal the record of Roberto Heras, but Sepp Kuss, Adam Yates, and others will be looking to stop the Slovenian. Wout van Aert is lining up in Lisbon as well. The Belgian is on the hun for multiple stage wins. Discover our insights on all teams and riders in this new episode of the Domestique Cycling Podcast!

Tour de France - First Week Review

    Send us a text

The first week of the Tour de France 2024 is literally done and dusted. Tadej Pogacar (UAE Tema Emirates) wears the yellow jersey, followed by the white jersey of Remco Evenepoel (Soudal QuickStep) and Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma | Lease a Bike). The much-anticipated gravel stage didn't cause any significant changes to the GC, but it still remains a topic of contention. Where do our opinions fall? Find out in this new episode of the Domestique Cycling Podcast.

Tadej Pogacar is Dominant on Stage 4, now what?

    Send us a text

In this episode of the Domestique Cycling podcast, we review all of the action from stages three and four of the Tour de France. Hear our thoughts on the historic victory on stage 3 for Biniam Girmay (Intermarché-Wanty) and the GC battle on stage four between the GC big men. Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) throws down the gauntlet on the Col du Galibier after letting his teammates Adam Yates, Juan Ayuso, and Joao Almeida set a scorching pace. Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), Remco Evenepoel (Soudal - QuickStep) and Primoz Roglic (Red Bull - Bora - HansGrohe) limit their losses but must be left with the question "Where do we now take time back on Pogi?"
