Many of these events we have covered in previous episodes in our Holy Week Series, such as Mary anointing Jesus, Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem (twice, actually!) and Jesus' cleansing of the temple (again, twice!). Having already covered the most iconic stories in this week's text freed us up to explore some of the lesser celebrated stories like the cursing of the fig tree, Zacchaeus, and Jesus' critique of hypocrisy.
