From the title that sets the news agenda every week, Something To Talk About sees Stellar editor-in-chief Sarrah Le Marquand sit down with a diverse range of guests - from household names to news identities and everyday people with a compelling story to share - for exclusive interviews and thought-provoking in-depth conversations. A new episode of Something To Talk About is published every Saturday evening.
When blogger, business owner and single mum Sophie Cachia announced her third pregnancy with a social media post in July, what many did not know was that behind the scenes, she had been on a four-year-journey filled with plenty of emotional hurdles and what she says was “a lot of sadness and fear”. Almost immediately, intrigue and speculation ramped up, as people began to question the baby’s paternity and whether there was more to her happy story.
On this episode of Something To Talk About, Sophie sets the record straight – answering questions about why she is having another baby on her terms, confronting rumours that her ex-husband Jaryd was her sperm donor, and reveals she is in a new relationship with AFLW player Madison Prespakis.
You can find out more about Sophie’s pyjama brand Cachia here, or follow her pregnancy journey via her Instagram.

Before he retired last year, David Stratton spent nearly six decades reviewing movies. And millions of Australians came to know and love him thanks to an on-air partnership with fellow critic Margaret Pomeranz, which turned them into household names and one of the most beloved double acts in the country.
On the show today, David joins Sarrah from his home – where he is still watching one, and often two, movies each day – to discuss his latest project, a book that chronicles three pivotal decades in Australian film; his enduring friendship with Margaret; his thoughts on some of his most infamous reviews – including an initially lukewarm reaction to comedy classic The Castle, and another that landed him in hot water with Julie Andrews - and the one film he thought was so awful he walked out of the cinema.
David Stratton’s new book Australia At The Movies is available to purchase here.

In the 30 years since Tina Arena stormed the charts with her hit song ‘Chains’, the powerhouse singer has become a vocal force to be reckoned with and one of the most successful Australian artists ever.
On the eve of a tour revisiting the 1994 album that would become a pivotal turning point in her career, Tina sits down with Something To Talk About for a no-holds-barred chat as she reflects on her beginnings as a child star (including the story of how she came to adopt her stage name), explains why she has never been afraid to speak her mind, calls out the “boring” narrative that pits successful women against one another - and reveals the heartbreak of being separated from her teenage son since the pandemic.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Don’t Ask, Tina Arena will head on tour in November 2024. She has also re-released a remix of Chains with Melbourne duo SHOUSE.

It’s been three years since Emma Watkins left the Wiggles - an announcement that broke the hearts of children everywhere (and one that left plenty of parents upset, too).
Emma made history when she became the first-ever female Wiggle in 2013, but as she toured the world as the Yellow Wiggle, she was also carving out time to explore her other passions. She studied for her PhD, which explored creative ways to use sign language and dance in children’s media. Ideas were brewing, and though she knew she would disappoint her young fans, Emma also knew she needed to back herself.
It was worth it: she has gone on to create a new and hugely popular alter ego, Emma Memma. She is running a business alongside her husband Oliver. And she is about to host a new ABC series that brought her back in contact with many of the children and families who had known and loved her as Emma Wiggle.
You can see Emma Watkins on Teenage Boss: Next Level airing on the ABC from October 12th 2024.

With 17 books to her name, a cult beauty brand she sold for big bucks and bought back for a steal - not to mention a household featuring two children, a Gold Logie-winning husband, and a couple of Instagram-famous cats - the life of Zoë Foster Blake is not exactly calm.
Zoë joins Sarrah in the Something To Talk About studio to discuss the cost-benefit juggle of multiple ventures, how going into business “knowing nothing” turned out to be everything, the reality (and importance) of failure behind the public success - and to take us inside her first adult novel in a decade, Things Will Calm Down Soon.
You can purchase Zoë Foster Blake’s new book Things Will Calm Down Soon through Atlantic Books Australia on October 1st 2024.

When writer and comedian Mark Humphries joined the Seven Network earlier this year to host a satirical segment for the 6pm national news bulletin, the announcement was met with endless headlines and heated social media commentary.
So why has three minutes of weekly television been the subject of so much debate?
Sitting down with the Stellar podcast Something To Talk About, Mark opens up to host Sarrah Le Marquand about what he calls “hostility to new ideas”, whether he still dreams of hosting the Logies - and gets serious about what it means to be a man, and a divorced dad, in modern Australia.
You can catch Mark Humphries on The 6.57pm News every Friday on the Seven Network.
Mark, satirist James Schloeffel and comedians Charles Firth and Veronica Milsom will tour nationally with The War On 2024 Annual Comedy Gala from November 27.

Lucinda Price, aka Froomes, grew up in the mid-2000s, when being hot was a commodity. As a teenager, the now well-known writer, comedian and presenter decided that hot was all she ever wanted to be. She even had her first cosmetic surgery procedure when she was 17. Now she has written her first book, All I Ever Wanted Was To Be Hot – part memoir and part social commentary, it dives into why pop culture makes women feel bad about their bodies.
On today’s episode of Something To Talk About, Froomes joins Sarrah Le Marquand to discuss her experience of developing and then recovering from an eating disorder, the toxic impact of pop culture on young women and the current obsession with weight-loss injections.

Eleven years ago, Tim Minchin gave a speech that went viral. The Matilda The Musical composer, who was being awarded an honorary doctorate at The University of Western Australia, shared his nine life lessons with the graduating class – and to say it struck a chord with the world is to put it mildly. It has since clocked more than five million views.
Now he’s turned that speech into a book called You Don't Have To Have A Dream. He joins Sarrah Le Marquand in the studio to discuss luck, micro-ambition, the poison of social media, compassion and infidelity. It gets a bit philosophical, but the thing about Tim is, he bares his soul in everything he does. And this conversation proved to be no different…
You Don't Have To Have A Dream by Tim Minchin (Penguin, $36.99) is out September 10, and available for pre-order now.
