Heather had all the most classic HA traits around diet and exercise... but still was stuck on this PCOS diagnosis that her doctors gave her and medicated her for.
When we started working together, we actually hard to reverse off of the metformin and bring in our foundstriational HA recovery strategies. If you struggle with figuring out if it's HA or PCOS, we got you!
Topics also discussed are the under-eating-over-eating cycle, over exercising, being overly busy with life and provera or progesterone challenge and being recommended fertility treatment instead of natural conception.

In this episode, Ashley sits down with her Restore Your Fertility client Lisa, whose journey through HA recovery is the encouragement we all need to keep going. Lisa’s story wasn’t quick or without challenges; in fact, she almost had us convinced she’d be our first “unicorn”—someone who might not make it to the other side of HA. But through her commitment, trust in the process, and the courage to keep making the next best decision, Lisa got there.
Her journey is a powerful reminder that while recovery may feel like a long, uncertain road, staying the course and believing in the evidence leads to real change. Tune in to hear Lisa’s inspiring story and remember, you’re not alone in this—recovery truly is possible.
