Today I’m with my new friends Hudson and Emily. They have spent the last eight years traveling to every country in the world, a journey sparked by the passing of Hudson's father that inspired them to live with greater intentionality. Along the way, they've discovered the beauty in diversity and been touched by the kindness and hospitality they've encountered. Despite challenges and misunderstandings, their commitment to loving God and loving people has remained unwavering. They’ve captured their adventures on video and I hope they write a book about their experiences. With just 11 countries left, primarily in the Pacific islands, they are close to completing this beautiful ambition.

Bob stumbled upon McKinnon Galloway through social media, where she teaches basic sign language. As a teenager, she was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2), a rare and incurable genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, leading to her deafness. McKinnon has a beautiful ambition of bridging the gap between the hearing and deaf communities, which led her to start the Deaf District—a community where deaf or hard of hearing individuals can find resources, support, and a sense of belonging. Join us for an inspiring conversation about the challenges she has faced, the importance of surrounding oneself with supportive people, and the power of words.
