In September 2024 a 33 year old patient named Alice Walker tragically died after a non-surgical liquid BBL procedure in the UK. The procedure was performed by an injector with no medical qualifications called Jordan James Parke. He and the clinic owner were arrested on charges of manslaughter but have since been released.
We discuss the circumstances surrounding this case and the wider implications due to the unique lack of regulations in UK aesthetics.
