Do You have a moral obligation to fix your issues and childhood traumas before you bring children into this world?
Many people say YES, Absolutely!
Why?
Because Trauma and abuse are passed down through generations unless someone breaks the wheel. Period.
Still, since nearly 1 in 3 people are influenced by childhood trauma and many won’t resolve it, does that mean that a huge part of our population is responsible to stay childless?
And would that cause a population decline as a consequence?
And if not? Are we then becoming an increasingly sick society?
This, and much more, we will cover in today’s episode.

Do you sometimes feel easily triggered, overly sensitive or thin-skinned?
This could be, because you are trapped in a cycle of unmet needs, weak boundaries and constant resentment.
BUT, now comes the thing! Many people can’t link this behavior with their bigger struggle: They have a super hard time meeting their own needs and wants.
Well, today, you have the chance to unlock exactly that.
You will understand why you struggle so much to meet your needs and wants
Where these feelings of being easily triggered, overly sensitive and being permeable come from (linked with CPTSD)
And I will give you a 3-step solutions-plan on how to break free from this cycle and reach the life you’ve been longing for—one where your needs & wants are finally heard and met.

Reading these comments underlines how emotionally important this topic is for everyone affected by Autism and/or HSP.
It also pinpoints the confusion and lack of research we face regarding the two concepts.
In the past two episodes, we assumed that HSP and ASD are different things and discussed each side of them.
Today, I want to assume that the Highly Sensitive Person and Autism Spectrum Disorder are the same thing, merged together in one condition.
We will explore that spectrum, that I will call Highly Sensitive Autism (HS-AS).
In order to do that, today I will present to you 10 Traits of this combined condition
And in the end of this video, we will see together, how realistic such a condition will be.

Autism vs Highly Sensitive Person. Yep, again!
Do you have Autism, or are you just a highly sensitive person?
From my observations and experiences here on YouTube, there are many people who misdiagnose themselves as having Autism Spectrum Disorder, but instead the majority of them are just having a sensory processing sensitivity.
The last episode here on this channel discusses that broadly.
Nevertheless, there are for sure some people, who actually have autism (ASD).
In order to get a clear understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), here are 9 big signs, that it’s actually ASD, not just HSP.
We also discuss the overlap of both conditions, visualized in a venn-diagram at the end of the episode.
And in the episode next week, we will explore how a diagnosis of ASD+HSP could look like, if those are basically the same thing.

Uhhhh - The Highly Sensitive Person vs Autism.
Are you just highly sensitive, or are you autistic?
We discussed that question a lot here before on this channel.
But as the topic of autism became more popular recently, I see a lot of people misdiagnosing themselves through content on social media.
I talked with my therapists about that as well.
And what they told me is:
NO, not anyone who can identify themselves with traits of ASD actually has a mental disorder like autism.
And YES, sensitivity is a trait that causes autism related symptoms and increases the chance for complex trauma as well.
Therefore, today I want to introduce you to 7 signs, that you are a highly sensitive person and not autistic.
We also discuss the major differences between a highly sensitive disposition and clinically diagnosable autism spectrum disorder.
This video is also the first one of three part series on HSP vs autism.

Pssst.
Not everyone's childhood trauma is obvious to see.
In fact, the signs can be subtle… or the person is very trained in hiding them.
BUT, if you know what to look for, you can identify pretty reliably that someone had a rough childhood.
In the past episode, I presented to you 10 obvious signs that someone had a traumatic childhood. Today, we take a look at 10 subtle, more hidden signs.
As we go through them, you might recognize these signs in yourself, a close friend, or even a family member. So in the end, we talk about what you should do in such a situation.
