Girl Talk Gone Menstrual!
Torey Kehoe is a Certified Fertility Awareness and Sexual Health Educator based in Toronto, Canada. Through her virtual business, Honeypot Health, she offers online courses and 1:1 programs for women and people with menstrual cycles. Torey is here to dive into a conversation that I think so many people will relate to—the fear, shame, and anxiety around unintended pregnancy. If you’ve ever felt terrified that you might get pregnant unexpectedly, or if you’ve struggled to trust your body when it comes to fertility, this episode is for you.
In this episode, Torey and I discuss her experience with an unintended pregnancy in college and how that led to years of anxiety and fear when it came to sex and reproductive health, how the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM) empowered her to heal from her past experience, overcoming the monthly anxiety that many of us feel around pregnancy, managing common fears of using FAM for birth control, how understanding our cycles can give us back control over every aspect of our fertility, and more. Enjoy the episode!
