Carol M. Swain PHD: Born into abject poverty in rural southwest Virginia, Dr. Carol Swain, a high school dropout, went on to earn five degrees. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.S.L. from Yale, she also earned early tenure at Princeton and full professorship at Vanderbilt where she was professor of political science and a professor of law. In addition, she has published opinion pieces in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Epoch Times, the Financial Times, and USA Today.

Greg Hammer, MD is a recently retired professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, pediatric intensive care physician, pediatric anesthesiologist, wellness and mindfulness lecturer, and the author of GAIN without Pain: The Happiness Handbook for Health Care Professionals.

Dr. Hammer was the Chair of the Physician Wellness Task Force for the California Society of Anesthesiologists as well as a former member of the Stanford WellMD initiative. He has been a visiting professor and lecturer on wellness at institutions worldwide and has taught the GAIN method to medical students, residents, and fellows at Stanford.

Originally from the main line area outside of Philadelphia, Hoyt was a scholar-athlete who graduated from Princeton with a BA in Economics, where he also played football.

Currently, Hoyt is co-hosting and producing a podcast series called WhaTheFlok, where he interviews other cult survivors and can be found on all major streaming platforms. In addition, Hoyt is developing a scripted TV series that chronicles his twenty-year journey into the Eternal Values religious cult and his subsequent escape and recovery. Also, he is writing a memoir, Picture Perfect, which chronicles his journey through the cult years and after while living a double life as one of the worldâs top fashion models.
