One of the questions that comes up regularly, in the Darling Shine community, is how to support someone who is moving through the big life stuff. Like when a friend is dealing with the grief of losing a loved one, or they receive a diagnosis that isn't good, or they've just had a miscarriage... how can you be there in a way that is actually helpful for them?
Literally no one better to ask these tough questions, than Mitch Wallis. And this conversation is the perfect blend of helpful, practical advice, mixed with real life experience. Strap yourself in, Darlings. This is a cracker of an ep.
This episode deals with mental health, if you find you need support, we encourage you to seek support.

After our chat earlier this year, with the amazing Bridget Hustwaite, there was such a huge response from women also suffering this mostly silent disease which affects 1 in 7 of us, that we decided to give this topic more much deserved air time! So Chlo and El reunited with an old high school friend, Elly McGaw, to share her story of living with stage 5 endometriosis and how eating beans (sounds weird, we know) has helped her heal.
Important note: This is in no way intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice. It is Elly's personal story and experiment and is specific to her. Speak to your Doctor or Health Care provider for advice specific to your circumstances.

Chlo and El sit down for the first time since Bobbi's arrival, to unpack their experiences of Chloe's birth together. In true Darling Shine style, there's some seriously touching moments, plus a little side chaos and lols, but beneath it all a bond between two besties that can make it through anything life throws their way.

Get the Kleenex ready, Darlings! Chloe is back from mat leave and ready to unpack the first part of her birth story.
In true Darling, Shine style, there were some hiccups with the record and we've had to take a detour from our original plan of a heartfelt conversation between Chlo and Paul, but the end result is beautiful.
In this episode, you'll hear Chloe tell her story from top to bottom (literally) and some heartwarming, and hilarious, insights from Daddy FISHER.

As Chloe takes time out to transition into her new role as a mother, we thought it fitting to revisit Ellidy and her journey to motherhood. A couple of months ago, El sat down with Davina Smith, host of the Gidget Foundation podcast "1 in 5 Mothers, 1 in 10 Fathers," and shared openly and honestly about her early days of motherhood and how she navigated it through waves of relentless grief.
