    Mike’s favorite movie of 2023 ‘Godzilla Minus One’ had a surprise drop on Netflix and quickly went to No. 1. In honor of that, Mike shares the best new movies that were released in the last year and are now available to watch at home. All movies have been added recently to streamers and might be ones that you may have missed in theaters but can now experience for free at home. In the Movie Review, Mike and Kelsey review Disney's Young Woman and the Sea starring Daisy Ridley. They share what made the movie so inspirational, the rules on 'spoiling' movies based on history and why Disney is the best at making inspirational sports movies. In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about why the final Venom movie will be a beautiful disaster. Venom: The Last Dance is the third movie in the "Venom" trilogy  and it brings back Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and his alien alter-ego, as they both are on the run from their species.

They share their favorite childhood DVDs, the era of DVD menus, directors commentary and bootleg copies.  In the Movie Review, Mike and Kelsey talk about Babes starring  Ilana Glazer. It’s about her character that gets pregnant from a one-night-stand and then leans on her best friend and mother of two  to guide her through gestation and beyond. Mike and Kelsey share what made the movie laugh out loud funny, the classification of ‘raunchy’, the portrayal of motherhood and how it made them feel about having kids. In the Trailer Park, Mike gives his thoughts on Francis Ford Coppola's "Megalopolis" which he self-financed the $120 million budget. Mike talks about the legendary director's classic films such as "The Godfather," how it had very polarizing early reviews and what its success or failure could mean for the movie industry.

In the Movie Review, Mike gives his thoughts on IF starring Ryan Reynolds. It’s about a 12 year old who discovers she can see everyone's imaginary friends, so she goes on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids. Mike shares why family movies have a special place in his heart, his imaginary friend growing up, why the movie felt unoriginal but ended up hitting him on an emotional level. In the Trailer Park, Mike gives his thoughts on M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie coming out this summer called Trap. It’s about a man and his teenage daughter who realize they're at the center of a dark and sinister event while watching a concert…and could be his best yet! (hopefully!)

They also discuss The Rock showing up to set 7-8 hours late, Chris Hemsworth admitting he became a "parody" of himself in "Thor: Love and Thunder" and a study that found Americans think the perfect movie length is just 92 minutes. In the Movie Review, Mike gives his thoughts on The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. He plays a stuntman and she is a first time action movie director. His character must find the missing star of her movie…trying to win back her love in the process.  In the Trailer Park, Mikes breaks down the Mufasa: The Lion King which serves as both a sequel and a prequel to the 2019 ‘live-action’ movie. Mike says what this movie will need to have in order to match the previous box office total of 1.6 billion set by its predecessor.
