Yet, staying present is challenging; our minds wander to the past or future, which are merely distractions from the now. Jesus taught that the past is over and the future is imagined, both defenses against the present. We must break free from this cycle, recognizing that the past is not our current reality. The journey is inward, to embrace and love the present moment.

Awakening to Spirit: Embracing Eternity Beyond the Ego’s Realm

The movie workshop addresses the authority problem, which refers to believing in a world separate from the Spirit. This belief can lead to death, sickness, suffering, and pain, as well as ego rebellion. Jesus' teachings emphasize that we are guilty in time and guiltless in eternity. 

The movie workshop also highlights the importance of understanding oneself in the environment in which we were created, namely the Spirit. The cosmos and world are the ego's playing field, with our schedule like a football game. Moving closer to pure nonjudgment makes us feel like our life is not ours.

We are birthed in God, and we value the images of time and space less. As we forgive, we grow deeper into forgiveness and burst into laughter, resulting from inner joy and innocence. This journey toward spiritual awakening can be long and challenging, but the reward is beyond everything we can imagine.

"Quantum Love and the Power of Transformation"—Easter Retreat's third Final Session with David, Lisa, Kirsten, Jason, and Erik.

David and his guests discuss forgiveness as a miracle, transforming us into newness and aliveness. This newness is present in our hearts, as the past is gone, making us feel present and alive, and that we are joined in this holy instant to be used and share the good news of this transformation. They recall their childhood experiences of Easter, where they were lost in something, but today, they realize the power of the resurrection and the opportunity to experience this transformation.

They also discuss unconditional love, which is not limited to the ego boxes but rather expansive love that cannot be squeezed into these boxes. Forgiveness is about letting go of the past and experiencing purity and innocence. Quantum love, a theme song in their community, is another example of unconditional love.

Quantum love is a mysterious field of energy that connects everything in the universe, unlike the traditional definitions of love. Quantum physicists were afraid to publish their findings because they couldn't understand them. Einstein, for example, was scared of the quantum field, calling it "spooky action at a distance."

David and Urpi share what is the Purpose of releasing the world in experience. Speaking from hearts joined and using examples of symbols of the world, the experience emerges. Using movies, songs, and a Netflix series of episodes called “3 body problem” they talk about the dismantling of faulty perception, false identity, and release of the past. The fear of the ego has already been replaced by the freedom of Divine Mind. Our Identity is in Christ and our Creator. Only Love is Real.

Jesus, a celestial being, appeared in a human-like apparition after the crucifixion. He made 22 more appearances after his death, teaching the same teachings in an angelic or resurrected body. On Easter Saturday, Jesus body disappeared, symbolizing his oneness with God. The resurrection is the resurrection of the mind, and once the mind recognizes itself as one with the mind of God, the Father and Son are one in pure spirit beyond the world.

Jesus lived a fearless life because he was in divine love. Even during the crucifixion, he followed the Holy Spirit and forgave the world without guilt. This is similar to some great yogis and masters from India who walk with their bare feet on hot coals. Jesus had transcended guilt and could still speak from the cross, saying, "Forgive them, for they know not what they do." He knew that even the people weren't real because God was spirit, and he was forgiving the projections of the world.

The resurrection experiences, or miracles, are seen as a way to heal the mind and overcome the temptations and trials every human being faces. The body can have symptoms that are a projection of the ego, but the body is neutral. Jesus had no shadows left in his mind and took no shadows of the world seriously. He could say with the authority of God, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. Follow me."

Crossing Dimensions of Joy: Reflection on Time, Salvation, and the Path of Atonement with David Hoffmeister.

In this first morning session of the Jesus: A Gospel of Love Easter Retreat, David reflects on Easter, the day Jesus was crucified, and the significance of the cross in Christian culture. Jesus emphasized the vertical and horizontal crossings, stating that the vertical represents alignment with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and the horizontal represents the earth plane or linear time plane. The present moment is inspired by the vertical, while the past and future are defined by the horizontal.

Jesus underscores the transformative power of joy, not as a distant reward but as a catalyst for immediate liberation. This enduring joy is possible and within our reach through the resurrection. He affirms that we can directly connect with God and are called to be miracle workers and teachers of God, collapsing time and shortening the horizontal bar on the cross.

Practicing miracles helps us return to the center, where we and the Father are one, and the present moment extends into eternity. Saints and mystics have discussed the concept of the cross as a symbol of the ultimate goal of salvation.

“Reflections on Judgment and Oneness: The Journey of Clavius and the Teachings of Jesus” Easter Retreat Movie Workshop with David Hoffmeister.

The human condition is a projection of our preferences; when our preferences are met, we seem happy. However, when our preferences are not met, we have bad days. Jesus teaches us to let go of judgment, which appears to keep order in our perceived life. The ego believes that without judgment, all will be chaos, but Jesus teaches us that without judgment, all is love.

He also teaches us that there is only one God and only one love. One God, mind, heart, and spirit. Enlightenment is just the awareness of pure oneness with no opposite. 

In A Course in Miracles, Jesus emphasizes the importance of forgiveness and that the crucifixion is an extreme teaching example for awakening. What is that extreme example for? The nothingness of the body and the allness of the spirit. That is the only lesson required for awakening.

"The Illusion of Unconscious Guilt: Exploring Forgiveness and Redemption" Movie Workshop Commentary with David Hoffmeister

In this movie workshop, David discusses the concept of unconscious guilt and fear, which are deeply ingrained in the mind. Deep desires in the subconscious mind allow the ego to create a world of illusions and false evidence. This unconscious guilt can lead to blame, condemnation, and fault. 

Jesus emphasizes the importance of forgiveness, acceptance of atonement, and the impossibility of the ego's belief in separation. Jesus warns us that the world is a battle of masks, and to find peace, one must come above the battleground. This perspective sees the mind as One that cannot attack itself; then, the entire projected world is a hallucination of the belief in the attack. You have to believe in an attack before you can perceive it. "If you spot it, you got it." This is a cute way to remember that you perceive it if you believe it.

In this talk, David Hoffmeister draws on Jesus’ teachings to illuminate the true nature of our existence. He emphasizes that we are not separate from our Creator but one Spirit, Christ. 

The movie commentary takes us into an experience of reality much beyond what we would call the everyday human experience. The real love of God is so far beyond human experience that we have only received glimmers, and the prayer remains: "Bring me a higher love." The movie commentary takes us beyond our limited definitions of love and relationship. It lifts us higher into a sense of the holy relationship: the connection with the divine and the holy instant. David is a mastermind guiding us toward a deeper understanding of love and relationships.

David Hoffmeister meets Alex Serra for the first time in a beautiful atmosphere of love, music, and friendship.

After playing at a festival in Ajijic, Mexico, Sunday morning, Alex Serra visited Living Miracles Monastery, La Casa de Milagros in Chapala. Alex Serra is a musician and explorer from Barcelona. His debut album ‘In the Real World’ (2019), springs from an inspiring four-year self-discovery journey starting in 2012 and taking him through Latin America and South Africa, where he connects with musicians from different musical roots that permeate his music with a unique and regenerating energy.

In 2014, Alex landed in Cape Town (South Africa) and met musician Yannick Meyer, with whom he formed a heartfelt brotherhood. Together, they started an ‘African psychedelic pop’ project called Native Young, joining with a marimba band from the townships of Gugulethu, Khayelitsha, and Philippi. This cultural and musical human exploration changed his life, inspiring him to explore his musical universe on his return home in 2016.

He has been following David Hoffmeister on YouTube for the last ten years, and this is the first time he talks to David.
