Each week, queer hosts Joe Lipsett and Trace Thurman discuss a horror film with LGBTQ+ themes, a high camp quotient or both.
Grab your walking stick (or is it a cane?), make sure your heart is pure and say your prayers by night because we're talking George Waggner's 1941 classic The Wolf Man!
Join us as we discuss all things Larry Talbot, from his creep factor (by 2025 standards) to his tragic end. Plus: Jack Pierce's outstanding make-up effects, marshes vs. moors, and lots and lots of fog.

Grab your belts and hop on the roof of that car because we're discussing our very first Quentin Tarantino film in 2007's pseudo-slasher/exploitation film Death Proof. Join us as we conclude the Grindhouse double feature that we started last year with Planet Terror.
From the debates about the film's feminist messaging to Tarantino's own disillusionment with the film, we have a lot to say! Plus: dialogue, dialogue and more dialogue, discussing the rest of the fake trailers, why Arlene/Butterfly (Vanessa Ferlito) is Joe's favorite character and one Hell of a final shot.

Look, no one ever said we were perfect...
To celebrate the end of another year of Horror Queers, Joe secretly put together a clips reel of memorable outtakes, featuring mispronunciations, flubs (sometimes multiple!), forgetfulness, and other delightful fuck ups. Enjoy!

We're #manifesting a happy New Year's with our best influencer friend courtesy of Sophia Takal and Adam Gaines' "New Year, New You" (2018).
The all-female entry of Into The Dark is all about toxic (female) friendships and anticipates a ton of 2022 "Influencer" horror titles, particularly Sissy.
Plus: praise for Carly Chaikin, questions about Suki Waterhouse's career, debates about social media advertising and complaints of "wokeness", and sly commentary (maybe?) by Takal and Gaines about the importance of Black, queer and fat people in white women's stories.

You didn't think we'd abandon you for Christmas, did you? For our final Main Feed episode of 2024, we're tackling Damien Leone's Terrifer 3 (2024) AKA the highest grossing unrated film OF ALL TIME!!!
We break the action into two discussions: Sienna's Final Girl Trauma storyline, then the Art & Vicky stuff. Trace feels the former is too familiar, while Joe is a bit more generous.
Plus: Leone's rebuttal to accusations of misogyny, horror cameos, debate if Art is Vicky's sidekick, the wonky death that doesn't work for us, and how Art has broken into the mainstream.

Celebrate the holidays with one final Micro Queers as we check in on prolific Aussie filmmaker Alice Maio Mackay's latest, Carnage for Christmas (2024).
We really enjoy watching Mackay develop as a filmmaker, though the film could benefit from a few less characters and storylines. Still, Carnage for Christmas has a unique killer mask, some great gore, and one badass lead protagonist in podcaster Lola.
