    Today’s guest is Selina Tomasich from Hair Aid


    Selina Tomasich is an academic with a teaching career spanning 20+ years. Selina teaches business, specifically; Entrepreneurship, Law, Human Resource Management and Marketing.

    Selina describes herself as a ‘dedicated nerd’, with a passion for education and learning. Selina holds five university qualifications, including a Doctorate of Law. She holds an international Patent for creating online technology.  She has created eight apps, written academic books and is published in peer reviewed journals.  Selina has taught at the University of the Sunshine Coast, University of Queensland, QUT, as well as international universities. 


    Selina is also the founder and CEO of Hair Aid – an Australian based charity that is doing amazing things both internationally and right here in our own Australian communities. Hair Aid provides livelihood skills training, training women recused from the sex trade, drug lords and those that live in critical poverty, hair cutting and beauty service skills. Once trained, the ladies can earn money, and create a pathway out of poverty. In Australia Hair Aid conducts Community Cuts events, providing free haircuts and beauty services to those who need a hand up.

    With 25 years of experience as a General Practitioner and cosmetic doctor, Dr Ingrid Tall has made a significant mark in the medical and cosmetic fields. Her journey was inspired by the rejuvenating power of day spas experienced during family vacations in Europe. 

    In 2011, she brought this vision to Brisbane, founding the Aquarius Health and Medispa and Cosmetic Image Clinics in the city's CBD. From a modest beginning, the facility has evolved into one of Brisbane's largest, award-winning and most comprehensive luxury Medispas.

    Offering an array of services and facilities including cosmetic medicine, indoor heated pool, finish dry saunas, IV nutrient treatments, hot and cold magnesium pools, steam rooms, gym facilities, and much more. 

    Her career in cosmetic medicine was ignited in 1993 while working as a medical reporter for Channel 10 News, where she covered emerging treatments like laser resurfacing. 

    This passion has seen her continually update her skills and knowledge, keeping abreast of the latest industry developments. Beyond her clinical work, Dr Tall has been a key figure in the medical community, notably serving as the President of the Queensland Australian Medical Association.
