The podcast where good company gather to talk Doctor Who and a company of other beloved British TV shows
Just a special message to announce we will be taking a short break until September. We hope you'll join us then!

Tansy stops by to discuss her writing career, her lifelong fandom of Doctor Who, confusing Australian time zones, and how Doctor Who in 2024 has sparked a newfound love of the show from her kids.
Then Tansy presents her Pick of the Month - the original UK version of the hit sitcom, Ghosts! Find out why the show has such staying power and consistency, how its concept has spawned several remakes in different countries, the comedy troupe that powers the series, and much more.
Thanks for listening!
Doctor Who icon William Russell sadly passed away this week at the age of 99. He was Ian Chesterton, first male companion of the Doctor, and we had a rare chance to sit and talk with him in 2018 at a convention in Baltimore, MD. In remembrance of William Russell, we present to you our interview from 2018 discussing Doctor Who and his time as the great Sir Lancelot!
Our very special guest this month has been working in the film industry for over 30 years. He's written for countless comic franchises including Logan's Run (and his own - Discord), worked as a special effects makeup artist for some of the biggest names in Hollywood, created incredible puppetry for many big-named films, and even won a Saturn award for his own film that he wrote & directed, Encounter (2019). And if all that isn't enough, he even owns a Dalek, a Zygon, and THE original TARDIS console from the 1996 TV Movie! He's Paul J. Salamoff and he joins us to talk about all of these things and of course his love of Doctor Who.
Then Paul brings us his Pick of the Month - the iconic CBS anthology series, The Twilight Zone! We discuss at least five personal favorite episodes of Paul's and talk about why the series remains timeless to this day. Join us as we look (spoiler-free!) at this very influential series which you can watch currently in North America on Paramount Plus.
And here's a link to Paul's movie, Encounter (currently on Prime Video) and a huge list of comics and books that Paul has written over the years!
As always, we hope you enjoy the show!
It's that time again! Usually once a year we like to talk movies and to keep it Doctor Who related we pair those movies with Doctor Who episodes. It's a fan favorite and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do making it. Thanks for listening! See you again later in April!
This month, podcaster Jason Miller joins us to discuss his weekly podcast, Doctor Who Literature! It's full of insightful information and fantastic guests. He's here to talk about what led him into podcasting, his recent fun-filled weekend at Gallifrey One 2024, and the exact moment he fell in love with Doctor Who.
Then we drive a stake through someone's heart this Valentine's Day month with Jason's Pick of the Month - the 1966-1971 ABC smash daytime hit, Dark Shadows! Some of us are new to this show and some have been watching for years, but we all agree that this was an exciting, bingeable series. Does it still hold up today? And what about the two movies it spawned in its heyday? And the 1991 Revival series on NBC? And the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie from 2012? Hmm...the less said about that the better. Or maybe you disagree! In any case, join us for this very fun episode!

They join us this month to discuss the recently released animated story, The Underwater Menace (now available worldwide). Does this story hold up? Is the animation actually better than the story? Can anything in the world shtop Zaroff? These topics and many more are tackled in this episode of Who & Company! Thanks for listening!
We hope you had a great year and a happy holiday season! We close out the year and Season 7 with writer/director Robert Valentine! Rob joins us to discuss his work at Big Finish, what it's like to win an award from the BBC, and his thoughts on the 60th Anniversary specials.
Then Rob invites us to tea to talk all about his Pick of the Month, the classic 80s TV version of Agatha Christie's Miss Marple starring Joan Hickson. We ask why this is such an important show to him, the differences of the many actresses who've played Miss Marple, and delve into three of his most favorite adventures.
Thanks for listening this year! We'll see you next month!
This month, we complete the set of DWP hosts as Michele Simmons joins us to discuss her origins with The Doctor Who Podcast, Greek mythology, and taking Captain Yates out for pizza in her mom's stationwagon. What? What? WHAT?
Then Michele brings along her Pick of the Month, the red-hot Marvel TV smash Loki! Find out why we think this series stands out from the other Marvel TV shows, just how intricate the character of Loki is, and that slam-bang of an ending in Season 2.
Thanks for listening!
Joining us this month is actor, writer, and worldwide convention goer, Ian McCann! Ian joins us to discuss his original way of getting into Doctor Who, how conventions differ in other parts of the world, and his thoughts for the 60th Anniversary.
Then Ian brings his Pick of the Month - the extremely popular sitcom of the 90s, One Foot in the Grave! What's the long-lasting appeal of this show and why do we love it? And is it true that the whole cast has been in Doctor Who? Tune in and find out, but be warned: HUGE spoilers for the finale episode.
Our LI Who 2023 coverage concludes this month with three interviews from the convention! We sat down with Brian Croucher and Jan Chappell from Blake's 7 fame and Richard Ashton who played an Ice Warrior named Friday in Empress of Mars. Come join us!
