We are thrilled to welcome Emma Meyers to the show this week. Emma is a PTS4 category para triathlete, and at the age of 18, just competed in the Paris Paralympic games. She also just started her freshman year at Colorado Mesa University, where she is a member of their DII triathlon team, and recently became the first para triathlete to compete in an NCAA triathlon.

In this interview Emma sheds some light on what life looks like to be competing at her sport's highest level at such a young age, as well as what it has been like to step into draft legal racing on the NCAA scene. Emma also shares how she embraces being a trailblazer in the sport, and the sort of legacy she hopes to develop.

After an eventful weekend of racing, Alyssa and Haley got to debrief everything that went on in the triathlon world. After that, we had an exciting interview with Tara Dower and her crew chief, Rascal, who just achieved the overall fastest known time on the Appalachian Trail! Tara and Rascal told us all the details of this incredible endeavor, including how they decide to work together, and all the preparation that went into the attempt itself. We also got to hear about the highs and lows of life on the trail and we are so glad these two took the time to come on the show!

We are back from Nice with a very exciting episode and interview! Haley was lucky enough to be able to interview Fiona Moriarty about her race in Nice just HOURS after the finish. She dove into all the details of her race, from the days leading up to it, all the way til she crossed the finish line. Fiona had a fantastic performance on the day, and we are so glad she gave us the inside scoop on how she did it. We also got to here from Alyssa about her perspective on the ground as a spectator and coach, which was an athletic and tactical endeavor in itself!
