Talitha Seymour discusses her passion for baking and its role in fostering community and evangelism. She shares her journey from Anderson Island to Spokane, where she got connected to Faith Bible Church through a friend at a medical wives' Bible study. Talitha enjoys baking and the way it can help build connections. For her, it has led to meaningful conversations and relationships. Talitha also shares her experience doing meal prep with a group of moms, pointing out the economical and relational benefits.

Dan Jarms and Joe Swanson discuss the process of discipling people toward baptism, emphasizing the role of disciple makers in guiding new believers. They highlight the importance of understanding the gospel, genuine repentance, and the willingness to count the cost of following Christ. Joe suggests that children should understand the gospel and demonstrate repentance before being baptized, typically around ages 12-18, though Faith has no hard age limits for baptism. They stress that baptism is a public declaration of faith and should not be seen as a hoop to jump through. Parents are encouraged to have open, honest conversations with their children about their faith journey.

For the last few years, our program for moms, called MomLife, has included a video that women involved in the ministry watch either before their monthly gatherings or together at those gatherings. We are now making audio from those videos available on its own podcast feed to make it easier to access for all moms, whether they are involved in the ministry or not. It’s all great biblical teaching for women, so we want to make it easy for the all moms in our church to benefit from it.

Dan Jarms and John Gardner discuss different end times views, focusing on the amillennial and postmillennial views. These different views come from different interpretations of Revelation 20:1-6, which describes a thousand year period of peace and Jesus' return. Postmillennialists envision a golden age of Christian rule before Jesus' return while amillennialists see the Millennium as a long, ongoing period of gospel spread, that takes place between Christ's first and second coming—in other words, that we are currently living in the "millennium". They also discuss the continuity of promises from the Old Testament to the New Testament, emphasizing that these views are interpretive differences within the Church and not barriers to fellowship or membership at Faith.
