Strengthening Families
I gave a talk at church on Sunday, and when I asked on Instagram stories if anyone wanted to hear, I got a 94% YES! The other 6% said they have no spiritual questions....
This is something I've thought about a lot personally, as well as for my children and dear friends who have struggled with questions of the spiritual nature, and so I was excited to collect my thoughts about the topic.
This pertains to parenting, because I strive to be spiritually strong for myself AND my kids, to be in tune to how I can best mother them, and guide them spiritually.Â
It stems from a talk: Seeking Answers to Spiritual Questions with my own thoughts weaved in.Â
For those not of my faith (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), we take turns sharing talks to the congregation, the last time I shared was a year and a half ago.Â
I LOVE the opportunity to do a deep dive, it truly boosts my spirituality, many hate the public speaking aspect of addressing a chapel full of 300!Â

It can feel very frustrating when grandparents don't agree (and either shame you for doing things different or do it without your consent) so THIS is an important discussion, especially around the holidays! My dad sent me an article that sparked this discussion, and i'm weighing in with some "say this/not that" scenarios in this episode.Â
