In this episode of the "She's Making an Impact" podcast, Terra shares an inspiring and practical message on overcoming perfectionism and embracing the principle that "done is better than perfect."
As we start a new year, let’s focus on obedience to God's calling, take action on goals, and trust Him with the results. It’s time for us to stop spinning our wheels and start making an impact by releasing our gifts and talents to serve others!
Episode highlights include:
Done is Better Than Perfect The importance of finishing tasks and releasing them rather than endlessly tweaking and striving for unattainable perfection is emphasized. Progress is better than stagnation.
Obedience Over Fear Fear of the results often holds us back, but it’s essential to trust God with the outcomes of our efforts and focus on being obedient to His calling.
God’s Desires in Our Hearts Psalm 37:4 shows how delighting in the Lord aligns our desires with His will, empowering us to act in faith and confidence.
Taking Action on Goals Real-life examples highlight the challenges of perfectionism, such as hesitating to submit a resume or launch a project, and the importance of pushing past those mental blocks to move forward.
Using Your God-Given GiftsThe encouragement is clear: trust that the skills and talents God has placed in you are sufficient to make a meaningful difference when shared with others.

I’m diving into the 5-Step Prayer Model for Healing, offering practical steps, biblical insights, and inspiring personal stories of faith in action. Whether you're new to prayer or a seasoned believer, this episode equips and encourages you to step out in bold faith to see lives transformed.
We’re covering the 5 steps prayer model:Step 1: The Interview Ask thoughtful questions to understand the root cause of someone's pain or sickness. Examples include, "When did this start?" and "What is your pain level from 1-10?"
Step 2: Prayer Selection Choose between a petition prayer (asking God) or a command prayer (declaring healing in Jesus’ name).
Step 3: Prayer Ministry Follow the Holy Spirit’s lead, share testimonies to build faith, and pray short, intentional prayers while keeping your eyes open for God's work.
Step 4: Re-Interview Assess the changes in pain or condition after praying. Continue praying and asking for more healing if needed.
Step 5: Post-Prayer Suggestions Encourage recipients to take authority over their healing, follow up with a doctor, and pay it forward by praying for others.
