    Episode 9 · The Kiss
Part of the Prophet Muhammad's comprehensive mercy (peace and blessings be upon him) was his dealings with his own children and grandchildren. This episode discusses how being merciful to children and showing them affection is part of instilling emotional and spiritual strength within them. Showing mercy to children is one of the ways we can cultivate a generation of merciful people. More importantly, it is one of the ways we are taught to seek mercy from God, the Most Merciful. When a Bedouin Arab warrior witnesses the Prophet kissing his grandson, Al-Hasan, an interesting conversation ensues. Tune in to this week's episode to hear what happened.

    Episode 5 • The Mob
It was the most difficult day of the Prophet Muhammad's life (peace and blessings upon him). After a series of personal trials — including the passing of his uncle and beloved wife Khadija (peace be upon her) — he set out to call the people of Ta`if to Islam hoping they'd be more receptive to the message than the Meccans had been. The response he received was far from hospitable. Not only did they reject the message, they chased him out of the city and had their children throw rocks at him until he was bleeding from the assault. Finally, he left the city and took refuge in a garden. That's when Allah gave him the option to destroy the entire city, and everyone in it, by crushing them between two mountains for the way they treated him. Tune in to hear what choice he made (peace and blessings upon him).

Episode 3 • The Runaway Camel
Khawwat ibn Jubayr, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him), once came across a group of women who he took an interest in. Against his better judgment, he decided to put on his best clothes and engage them. Until the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) found him. The Prophet greeted Khawwat and said, "O Father of Abdullah, what caused you to sit with these women?" Khawwat panicked. He didn't know what to say. So he replied with, "O Messenger of Allah, my camel ran away. I was trying to figure out where it went. So I was asking these women if they've seen it." Episode 2 • The Assassin
If you came face to face with someone who was secretly trying to kill you, what would you do? Would you act like you didn't know? Would show them some hostility? Would you threaten them? Those would all be reasonable ways to deal with someone who intends to take your life. But that's not what the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) did when a bedouin man followed him around the Holy Mosque waiting for an opportunity to kill him.

    Episode 1 • The Conquest
In the final years of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings upon him) life, he conquered the city of his birth, Mecca. If you look at the actions of most conquerors throughout history, you'll find anything but mercy. Conquerors are typically quick to exert their power over the conquered people as a display of authority. But that's not what happened when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) conquered Mecca. Despite the fact that he was driven out of the city just years prior, the repeated acts of aggression initiated by the Meccans after the Muslims had fled to Madina, and the violation of their peace treaty by the Meccans — the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) dealt with the people of Mecca with nothing but mercy, compassion and gentleness.
