Muslim Chaplaincy of Toronto

Muslim Chaplaincy of Toronto

The Muslim Chaplaincy at the University of Toronto engages Muslim youth by providing an inclusive space for them to foster a meaningful Muslim identity, enriched and supported by quality educational and counseling services. Our vision for a Muslim chaplaincy is to have an organization that facilitates quality educational, social, and spiritual services to support Muslim youth on a campus setting. We envision that a Muslim chaplaincy will have a very positive impact on the course of Islamic leadership in North America. By having access to a wave of committed, well educated, balanced, nurturing, and culturally relevant role models, young Muslims will no longer feel at a loss when they face challenges of faith and identity. Rather, the chaplaincy will be a presence that inspires confidence and healthy spiritual development in Muslim youth.
