Redemption Christian Church exists to love God, love people and change the world through Jesus. The Redemption Sermons podcast is audio from services and other events.
In rural southern Indiana, more than two decades ago, an upstart church began with a handful of people, and God has grown it into an impactful church of more than 2,000, with campuses in three towns. How did this happen? What did God use to not just make a church grow, but create a movement of Christ followers who are brought into the mission of loving God, loving people, and changing the world?
In Season Two, we continue to explore what God has done — and is doing — through Redemption Christian Church as Leadership Developer Kevin R. Smith guides the conversations.
Is it possible to have contentment and joy in all circumstances? Can peace and fulfillment actually be qualities marking our lives? In his letter to the church in Philippi, the Apostle Paul describes how deep-rooted joy and confidence in God’s promises — through a relationship with Jesus — can lead us to the good life.

As a culture, we are obsessed with numbers. From influencers to crowd sizes, we are hyper-focused on bigness. Jesus’ focus, however, was much smaller. He showed us how to live out the commandment to love God and love others. He shows us how to love other people — by focusing on one person at a time.

Kids and students aren’t just the future of the church, but the church right now. As we have for several years, we're taking one Sunday to highlight family ministries with Next Gen. Sunday. Next Gen. Sunday is a chance to challenge the larger church body to step up their role in setting the course for the next generation. It is also a chance to spotlight and celebrate all that’s happened in Family Ministries in the past year.
