Welcome to Wildwood! The folks here live just like you and me. They love fun and adventure, enjoy their work and family, and try to learn each day what it means to be like Christ. Share a laugh with C.J., Ned, Staci, and all their friends in The Club. Sit down and hear Captain Gus tell you a story from his days sailing the high seas. Visit Paw Paw Chuck at his fix-it shop. You might even run into Hugh McClaw and his cronies, Mange and Molty. Whether you're six or 60, when you listen to Paws & Tales you'll always find something to laugh about, something to sing about, and something new to discover about our great and loving God
On the way to perform their Christmas pageant in Modesty, The Club, Paw Paw Chuck, and Miss Harbor run into an unexpected delay. Forced to seek shelter in a hillside home, the group help a man and his son find healing, restoration, and a reason to have the Christmas spirit.
During the school gift exchange Miss Harbor challenges her class not just to appreciate the gift, but spend time being thankful for the giver. Through her challenge, The Club discovers the depth of God's love.
When gifts begin mysteriously appearing on doorsteps all over Wildwood, Ned and Tiffany join forces to reveal the identity of the Christmas Gift-Giving Bandit. What they discover is a special lesson in God's goodness and counting His blessings.
The new Wildwood library is nearly complete and Miss Harbor's class has been given the honour of making it something to go on permanent display. Ned knows just the thing and sets off to create his masterpiece. But his pride and anger put the project—and his life—in jeopardy! Can his friends save him from destruction?
Staci's life seems to be going really well. She enjoys church, her family, and even school! But everything is about to change. Now Staci must learn to trust God's plans when everything around her seems out of control.
Marsha has a great idea, but thinks she could never do it since she's just a kid. With some encouragement from Paw Paw Chuck and the Bible story of Gideon, Marsha learns that nothing is impossible with God.
Staci can hardly believe what a rude reception she receives from Miss Helga Grissel. After all, she was only trying to welcome Miss Grissel to Wildwood. With Miss Harbor's help, Staci learns an important lesson in showing grace to someone who's hard to live with.
When Ned refuses to part with an autographed baseball C.J. wants, C.J.'s envy threatens to get the better of him. With the help of Mr. Collins' cylinder player, C.J. hears the story of King Ahab and Naboth's Vineyard, and discovers how destructive envy can be.
Staci tells The Club shocking news—Hugh wants to join the club! Hugh is seen doing good deeds and being kind to others. His transformation even impresses Miss Harbor. But C.J. wonders how one can know if a person has really changed.
C.J. tries to bring peace between The Club and Hugh. Being a peacemaker is certainly what God would want, right? But C.J.'s idea to bring the two tribes together explodes when his methods betray his good intentions.
