If you own rental property, then chances are you’re paying property tax.
In many areas around the country, property tax assessments can be confusing, unpredictable, and sometimes overly expensive.
How do we know if we’re over-paying on our property tax, and what can we do to bring this cost down?
My guest today is committed to democratizing real estate tools once reserved only for industry experts, and he’s developed a way to identify properties that are overpaying on their taxes and work to right these wrongs.
Joseph Noor is the Co-Founder and CTO of Ownwell, and he’s here today to help us save money on our property taxes.

No matter which party and candidates you voted for, one thing I’m certain that we all can agree on is that it’s good to have election day behind us.
But what does the outcome mean for real estate investors?
Erika Farley is the Executive Director of the RPOA and has an extensive background in local and state politics. She’s here today to discuss the election results on both the state and federal level, and what real estate investors might expect from a policy perspective.
We’ll also discuss the rent control ballot initiative that failed in California and what that means for the rest of the country.

One of the common denominators between the successful guests we’ve had on this show is their ability to systematize, streamline, and scale their business to increase their revenue.
But building a team and processes that allow you to do that can be daunting.
Hiring an Executive Assistant and/or Chief Operating Officer, or COO, can help accelerate your growth, but paying a full-time salary is out of the question for many investors and business owners.
Today we’re going to discuss Executive Assistants and COOs, what they do, how they can help you, and how finding one might be easier than you think.
My guest is Matt Viebrock, founder of Let’s Grow COO, who helps real estate entrepreneurs streamline and scale their businesses to make more net profit.

Brian Hamrick here with a special episode for you today that hits very close to home.
I'm joined by Alex Jarbo, who is my partner in a vacation rental resort property located in Asheville, NC.
As many of you are aware, one month ago Asheville was hit by Hurricane Helene and much of the surrounding areas were devastated by wind and thousand year flooding.
Luckily for our property and guests, we sustained zero damage. But our Engadine Inn & Cabins property has since become 'ground zero' for much of the rescue, recovery, and rebuilding effort over the past 30 days and the foreseeable future.
Alex will be sharing his on-the-ground experience hosting and working with Aerial Recovery Group, and the positive impact they've had on the Asheville community, and how you can help as well.

A lot of people consider real estate investing to be an alternative form of investment. To traditional stock/bond/mutual fund investors, real estate can seem quite risky and exotic.
But once you enter that space and learn to mitigate those risks and find the profit potential, a whole new world of alternative investments will present themselves. I’m talking about alternative investments such as notes, ATM funds, mobile home parks, life insurance policies, tech start-ups, industrial properties, short-term rentals, and LIHTC affordable housing communities.
Denis Shapiro is the author of “The Alternative Investment Almanac – Expert Insights on Building Personal Wealth in Non-Traditional Ways”, and he’s here today to share his insights from some of the most successful alternative asset investors in the business today.
