Who was Evelyn's true love? Why was Monique chosen to write her story? What famed individual would we want to write a tell all for? Welcome back to another book club meeting! This episode we tackle Colleen Hoover's dark and twisty suspense novel Verity (Dec 2018). While many claim this book to be a romance novel (and we almost did too, before we read it) the WGBC gals have firmly decided its a suspense thriller and nothing more. Is Lowen a bad person? Did Verity do it? Is Jeremy really that endering? Grab a coffee- or in this case an alcoholic beveragino- and break down this 340 page book that had us texting one big "WHAT" every single chapter.
