    Ep. 59: Women in Hip Hop: A Conversation with Dijah SB and Exmiranda

    This week, James and Jordan are back from a long break to sit down and chat with two pillars of the Toronto Hip Hop scene, Brittany “Exmiranda” Manu and Dijah SB.

    The episode is produced in partnership with Myseum of Toronto’s ‘Intersections Festival: Women in Hip Hop’, an upcoming panel discussion aimed at challenging the traditional role of Black women within the male-dominated space of hip hop while exploring the intersecting experiences of race, sexuality, ability and gender.

    The “Quarantine Edition” of the Intersections Festival will take place Thursday, June 25th from 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM EDT, and will include a Zoom panel discussion featuring Dijah SB, Keysha Freshh and Tracey Kayy, and moderated by Brittany “Exmiranda” Manu. Register today!
