We at Shenzhen Stories hope to foster relationships within the community in Shenzhen by sharing true stories that will remind us all that we all have a little more in common than we might think. Shenzhen is filled with people from all over the world and everyone has a different past, a different way to know and be known and with the stories collected and shared through SS, we hope to find common ground. A story can remind is that we are not alone, give perspective, teach us about others and ourselves, make us laugh and cry and think about something we wouldn't have otherwise.
Broken legs, lapsing insurance, bad ( and I mean baaaaAAAaaaadd) dates, terrible loss, tornadoes, loving grandmas, mistaken identities in Russian, confusion over denim and much MUCH more in this episode as Rachel, Melissa, Rachel, Stuart, and Shannon speak at our live event about being unlucky. Enjoy. Â
Gardening leads to reconnecting with a parent, being born deaf and wresting with your brothers on your way to self discovery, a will they or won't they for flights home across the globe during covid, and maybe the best description of fried chicken you have ever heard. All of it is in the episiode of Shenzhen Stories from our live event, Silver Linings.
Storytellers: Frederique Charbonneau, Katie Hobbbs, Jen Simon, & Justin Clouden.Â
