#22 Live from ChitChat: Women's HiSTORY Tellers
This episode of P Power Radio was recorded live at the Chit Chat Women’s Panel, brought to in collaboration with the Cliche Collectiv. Every month, I facilitate a panel of boss bitches, and sometimes mediocre, but noble dudes, who are experts in the field of topic we’ve chosen to discuss that month. In March, we hosted a panel of amazing women in honor of Women’s History Month, who do the work of telling women’s stories from a marginalized lens. I’m a super fan of all of the women on the panel, and after you hear this episode, I’m sure you will be too! The episode features two performances, one by McKenzie Chinn, who is one third of The Growing Concerns Poetry Collective. That comes later in the episode, but first you’ll hear a story from, Lily Be, a Mexican-American, Chicago Native, Storytelling LEGEND. Who kicks off this episode with a story from her one woman show entitled No Hay Mal. This episode was recorded live at Reunion Chicago, a queer owned and operated co-working and event space that prioritizes events curated by and for queer people of color.
