It's hosted by Ryan Brownlee, longtime coach and current Assistant Executive Director of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). The ABCA is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level, with more than 13,000 members representing all 50 U.S. states and 23 countries. Since 1945, Association membership has broadened to include: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, Junior College, Pacific Association Division, High School, Youth and Travel Ball. Each January, the ABCA hosts the largest baseball convention in the world. Over 7,000 coaches attend the convention, which is held at various locations around the country.     Martinez played a pivotal role in leading Jesuit High School (FL) to their seventh State Championship and third since 2019.     A Birmingham-Southern alum, Hulse spent nine seasons coaching the Panthers, playing a key role in their remarkable 2024 run to the College World Series under extraordinary circumstances.     Vickerson has been a key part of the Shelton State baseball program for 11 seasons as both a coach and former player. In 2024, the Bucs posted an impressive 44-19 record, setting a school record with 28 conference wins and earning a trip to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado.

    Jared Martin, University of the Cumberlands - NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year

    Martin recently completed his 10th season as Associate Head Coach at the University of the Cumberlands, helping lead the Patriots to a record-breaking 52-8 season and their second consecutive World Series appearance. As the recruiting coordinator and coach for hitters and infielders, Martin has been instrumental in the team’s success, helping set single-season records for wins (52), home runs (144), RBI (626), and walks (356).

    A standout player for the Patriots from 2011-2014, Martin earned MSC Freshman of the Year honors, the 2014 Gold Glove at third base, and still holds spots in UC’s record books for batting average, games played, hits, RBI, and doubles.

    Kevin McMullan, University of Virginia - NCAA Div. I Assistant Coach of the Year

    Now entering his 22nd season as Associate Head Coach at the University of Virginia, McMullan has been instrumental in building one of the most consistent programs in NCAA Division I baseball. With his leadership, the Cavaliers have achieved a National Championship in 2015, seven College World Series appearances, and 17 NCAA Regional appearances, amassing 886 wins. The ABCA Assistant Coach of the Year is renowned as one of the best recruiters and developers in the game and has guided over 100 players to professional contracts, with 52 UVA position players selected in the MLB Draft—17 of whom reached the big leagues.
