Fulhamish is the award-winning, voice of Fulham FC. A place for honest and passionate discussion about everything FFC.
45 years of hurt, ended in one smooth roll of Rodrigo Muniz's left foot. Fulham have finally ended the Hoodoo at Stamford Bridge, by coming out victorious in a Brilliant Boxing Day Battle that ended 2-1 to the Whites.
We take a look back at the glory of what went down in those final 15 minutes at the old dog track, analyse the performance, the tactics, the shift put in by every player to a man, and the way Fulham turned the screw on their hosts in the second half.
This weekend, Bournemouth visit the Cottage for our final game of 2024 and we examine whether we can carry the emotional high of Thursday into our game against the high-flying Cherries, as well as any possible injury-returnees, before we wrap things up.

Well that was dull... Elizabeth takes the reins for reaction following a humbling point at home to Southampton. Fulham's unbeaten run in December had promised fans a calming and festive ride into the Christmas week but unfortunately, Father Christmas decided to deliver a nice big sack of coal. However, an uninspiring game does not faze our guests, Izzy Barker, Dan Cooke and Jack Kelly.
Despite the lack of goals, they find plenty to discuss from Sunday afternoon. They take a look back at Silva's surprising line-up that featured Josh King and Tom Cairney, review Muniz's disappointing attempt to revive his purple patch from last season and try to decipher exactly what to do with a looming injury crisis. In part two, they answer your listeners' questions and finally, to try to rescue any remnants of festive spirit, Elizabeth rounds off the podcast with a musical treat from resident DJ, Sam Witcher.

The Thursday Club is back in studio for the final word on our 2-2 draw with Premier League leaders Liverpool, where Fulham would have snapped your hand off for a point before the game, but came away somewhat disappointed with not taking all three in the end. We chat about the tactics Silva used, the influence of Antonee Robinson, and Andreas Pereira's return to the team - as well as the amount of points that Fulham have dropped from winning positions this season.
Then it's on to the weekend ahead, where the Whites host bottom-of-the-pile Southampton at Craven Cottage. You'd think, given the performances against top sides of late, that this would be a guaranteed win - but this is famously Fulham we're talking about, and Southampton are a bit of a wildcard in that they'll have a new manager at the helm following the sacking of Russell Martin after their dismantling at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
We finish with some of your questions, including some on peroxide-blonde hair affecting performances, Emile Smith-Rowe's performances across this season so far, home fans in the away end at Liverpool and what the club could do to stop it, and loads more!

And... breathe. On Saturday, Fulham treated us to a rip-roaring game at Anfield as we took on the league leaders. George, Farrell, Jack K, and Jack S are here to look back on the game that had it all - and ask how we're meant to feel about it. With Liverpool down to ten for most of the game, did we capitalise enough on our man advantage? Should we be increasingly concerned about how many goals we're conceding at the start of second halves? We've dropped seventeen points from winning positions this season - is this a worrying trend? Or... is this a positive point in a tough place to go, that sees us on the edge of the European places?
Then it's time for a bunch of your questions. We applaud the Player of the Match performance from Antonee Robinson, and ask whether there is anyone better than him right now, and there are plaudits for our whole back line. We also discuss the midfield selection from Marco.

Peter Rutzler returns to the Thursday Club, fresh from his move from The Athletic to The Times, to talk all things Fulham with us. We start with a last look back at the hard-fought point that the Whites earned against Arsenal on Sunday, including a deep dive on the formation shift that served Fulham well in nullifying Arsenal's dangerous right hand side, and some love for the new midfield shield of Sander and Sasa.
Then it's onto Liverpool, who we face on Saturday, and who slightly underwhelmed in their Champions League outing against Girona in midweek. We chat about the ways Fulham might set up to similarly nullify top-class opponents, try to find some weaknesses in the Reds' seemingly inpenetrable armour, and ponder whether a game like this might call for Emile Smith-Rowe to be rested in favour of a more dynamic No. 10.
We finish with a little look ahead to the Transfer Window, with Peter giving his thoughts on where (if anywhere) Fulham might look to strengthen in January.

It is so satisfying to see those red tears on Arsenal's faces after a wet and stormy afternoon at the Cottage. Despite referee Chris Kavanagh's best efforts, Jimenez's first-half goal granted Fulham a well-earned point against the Gunners. One well-drilled side met another with Fulham holding the set-piece masters at bay.
On the pod, we look back at the stellar performances from across the pitch - how long do you have for us to recap them all? We analyse how Fulham managed to frustrate Arsenal's forward play, reflect on the glory of that late, disallowed goal and pour out our gripes against Chris Kavanagh's refereeing performance. In part two, George picks some listener questions and, to round-up, we each pick a player of Fulham vintage that we would most like to see brought back for the 2024-25 squad.

What is it about Brighton in the Premier League? Good or bad, rain or shine, the Seagulls just can't seem to conjure a win against Fulham - with Thursday's 3-1 victory the latest in a run of nine undefeated in the top flight against Micky Adams' other side.
We're not complaining anyway. The newly named 'Friday Club' of Sammy and Jack take a look back at the game and how it panned out, as well as diving into some impressive individual performances and some interesting comments from Marco Silva in the presser afterwards.
The games keep coming thick and fast at the moment, and Sunday sees Arsenal visit the Cottage. Mikel Arteta's side are in sparkling form at the moment, but last year we dealt a wintery wallop to their title ambitions - could history repeat itself at the weekend?

That was fun, wasn't it? George, Ben, and Avais look back at a game full of talking points away at Tottenham Hotspur, in which Tom Cairney scored a beauty and then got sent off. They discuss whether we were better than Spurs across the pitch and whether we could have taken more from the game, and examine Andreas Pereira's exclusion from the squad. We also talk through Fulham's striker situation and whether we should be doing better in front of goal.
Then it's time for a bunch of your questions, including about whether Harry Wilson deserves a start and the performance of Antonee Robinson.

Fulham's excellent form came crashing to a halt at the weekend, with Wolves running out deserved winners at the Cottage. We take a final look back at Saturday's slump, before turning our attentions to this weekend's game against Spurs in North London.
Our opponents had a big win last week, beating Champions Manchester City 4-0 on their own patch, which we all agree is exactly what we want to happen, because of two terms in the shared footballing lexicon with similar vibes - 'Spursy' and 'Fulhamish.'
There's a breakdown of how we think Marco Silva's side should set up to try and best our hosts, who have been brilliant and exasperating in equal measure this season, and take a look too at the 'Away Shirt Curse' that has been haunting Fulham for over a full season now.

Talk of winning the league feels very far away now, doesn't it? In the driving rain by the Thames, Fulham served up a performance that won't live long in the memory, as league-table strugglers Wolves put four past Marco's team. George, Dan, Yasmin, and Jack are here to make sense of what happened.
We discuss where it all went wrong for Fulham on the pitch on Saturday, and ask how concerning this defeat is within the bigger picture. Then we take a bunch of your listener questions, including about our poor chance creation and how to fit Sasa Lukic and Sander Berge into the same team.

The end of the international break is nigh and Fulham return to the Cottage this weekend to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers, who have struggled for form this season but who did pick up their first win before the break against Southampton. We take a look at Gary O'Neil's charges and examine where this game will be won and lost, as well as some of the injuries and system changes that have shaped Wolves' season.
Before that though, there's a look back at the International Whites who were in action - Harry Wilson with another scorcher for Wales as his good form continues, Raul Jimenez's impressive leadership as he helped steer Mexico out of tricky waters, single-game showings for Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi and Joachim Andersen, an impressive change of role for Antonee Robinson, Timothy Castagne captaining Belgium, and two assists for Sander Berge for Norway.
And there's also time for a little discussion of how Sasa Lukic fits back into this Fulham midfield when he returns from his injury, as well as a couple of your emails to round things off.
Fulham Foodbank Initiative: The collection will be taking place by the Johnny Haynes statue between 1pm and 2.30pm. There will be 4 volunteers from the Foodbank on the day who will be responsible for taking any cash or card donations.
Some ideas:
Festive Favourites can also be donated, as the event is taking place before Christmas.
Items need to be sealed, in date and long-life ambient items. "
