Maddie & Christina have finished The King Eternal Monarch and what a ride (through multiple universes?) it’s been. The drama started out strong, but dwindled when it got closer to the ending. 

In this review, Maddie & Christina talk IN DEPTH about this show and what went wrong. This show had all the parts that make a kdrama great, but the ending really wasn’t it.

Their biggest takeaway: have only two universes and call it a day. NOTHING MORE, PLEASE. IFYKYK.

Maddie & Christina are back for another Through Two! The ladies watched the first two episodes of Family By Choice with Jung Chae-Yeon (The King’s Affection), Hwang In-Yeop (True Beauty), Bae Hyun-Sung (Our Blues), Choi Won-Young (Twinkling Watermelon) and Choi Moo-Sung (Reply 1988). 

Maddie is SO STOKED because this drama is a remake of her FAVORITE Chinese drama series “Go Ahead”.

In this episode, the ladies talk about the plot, the characters, and some similarities and differences so far from ‘Go Ahead’. They are both excited about this drama and it looks super promising!

Love Next Door officially ended and the ladies needed to talk about this show ASAP! 

Love Next Door was a drama that had many unexpected turns and wasn’t the ‘romantic comedy’ that people were hoping for. What this drama did give the viewers was two love stories, Jung Hae-In’s puppy eyes, a family dynamic that was chaotic and warm, and the theme of how the impact of sharing your struggles with others helps you heal. 

In this episode, Maddie & Christina deep dive through episodes eight through sixteen and gush over Jung Hae-In & Mudflat Man (Christina is OBSESSED…and hoping to marry him). They will miss the iconic banter from the two leads and the paramedic’s epic love story with Dan-Ho and his sweet daughter. All the actors in this drama did a fantastic job and the ladies were sad to say good-bye to the show.

Maddie, Elle, & Christina are all here to review No Gain No Love. This drama stars Shin Min-Ah (Hometown Cha Cha Cha) & Kim Young-Dae (The Forbidden Marriage) as the main couple and Lee Sang-Yi (Bloodhounds) & Han Ji-Hyun (Cheer Up) as the secondary couple.

In this episode, the ladies talk about how admirable Shin Min-ah’s character is, how Ji-Uk is the sweetest (that proposal scene? COME ON) and if the show landed the plane. They discuss all the plot points and realize if Lee Sang-Yi’s character is actually questionable. Maddie, Elle, & Christina enjoyed this drama and they are curious to hear your thoughts!

Christina & Elle gush about Hometown Cha Cha Cha to celebrate the three-year anniversary of this drama’s release! Both ladies find this show perfect and they absolutely adore the people of Gongjin that make the town so incredibly special.

They have also come to the conclusion that everyone deserves their own Chief Hong. Yes? YES.

In this episode, Christina & Elle discuss Hye-Jin and Chief Hong and how they remain to be one of their favorite kdrama couples of ALL TIME. They talk about all the precious villagers and how community and friendship is the backbone of Gongjin. 

If you are looking for a show to pull at your heartstrings while giving you a warm hug - this is the perfect show for you. You will fall in love with every single character and feel like you are apart of the Gongjin family by the end. HomeCha is a timeless drama that continues to be loved by so many.

Maddie & Christina have made it to the halfway mark of The King: Eternal Monarch and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

They have loved every bit of the show's first half… but are nervous to continue. The ladies don’t know if it will go downhill after episode eight since not many people mention this show as one of their favorites of all time.

In this midway review, Maddie & Christina continue to talk about the characters, the (ever so detailed) plot, and what they hope will happen as the show continues. They repeatedly have been SWOONING over Lee Min-Ho (the KING OF KINGS) and are curious about what will happen with Lee Gon & Tae-Eul’s love story.
