Seeing what Taylor Swift wears to the Chiefs games is always a fun time, but it can be a life changing moment for certain brands if Taylor chooses to wear your product. The girls are thrilled to interview Aliett Buttelman, a co founder of Fazit Beauty, on today's Taylor Swift Podcast episode. They discuss Aliett's experience as a Swifite including when she became a fan, her Eras Tour experiences, and her thoughts on The Tortured Poets Department. Moving into a more business focused discussion, Aliett describes how the company was founded, how they were able to get their products into the hands of Taylor Swift, what happened when they found out Taylor was wearing their glitter freckles to the Chiefs game, how they handled the exposure, and what happens next for Fazit. This was such a fun interview and Karli and Jess were fascinated by hearing about the Taylor Swift effect that Fazit Beauty experienced.

Aliett and Nina’s journey in the beauty industry has been fueled by a passion for progress over perfection.

For Aliett, it began when she entered the world of fashion as a model at the age of 15. Working with renowned global beauty brands exposed her to the process of bringing products and brands to life. However, as a model, she faced immense pressure to conform to their idea of "perfection." The industry had strict expectations regarding skin type, body size, and race, leaving little room for diversity and representation. It became clear to her that this obsession with perfection was not only limiting opportunities for people, but showing the world one type of beauty. Motivated to challenge these homogenous norms, she took a step back to attend Columbia University, where she met her co-founder Nina.
