Cheesehead Radio #360: Cheese Crumbled: The Mourning After

Perhaps to no one's surprise, the 2024 Green Bay Packers' season ended with a dull thud as the Philadelphia Eagles joined the Lions and Vikings as elite NFC teams who've beaten the Pack twice this season. While we find a lot of positives in the season, there was a lot of debate and quibble about, as well as some concerning injuries for 2025. We take an early look at position-by-position this offseason and our UFAs, and predict the areas Brian Gutekunst will prioritize in free agency and the draft.

Why the Packers Season Came to a Crashing End in Philly | Packers Weekly #77

No excuses about penalties and injuries. The Packers season ended the way it did for a very specific reason - a failure of leadership. We can get into team-building talk, but no free agent receiver or draft picks matter if the leadership on this team can't hold up its end of the deal. Let's talk about it, Packers fans!

Cheesehead Radio #359: From Glory to Gory in 54 Seconds

In a frustratingly disappointing season finale, the Packers drop one in the final seconds to arch-rivals Chicago, giving them their Super Bowl. However, the Packers are able to begin their own campaign for a real Super Bowl on Sunday, as they travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in a wild-card matchup that sees Green Bay and Co. as underdogs. Now without WR Christian Watson, do the Packers have what it takes to pull off the upset? Tune in to Cheesehead Radio and listen in as the gang tells you what the Packers need to do to win this weekend.

Packers Therapy #477: Numb and Dumber

Chris and Dave conclude that the Packers played as dumb as Jordan's Love's hand was numb. The guys lament the Packers' narrow 24-22 defeat to the Bears, their first loss to Chicago since 2018. They scrutinize the coaching decisions, particularly questioning Coach LaFleur's "dumb" use of timeouts, which contributed to the loss. The boys also touch on Love's performance, with his "numb" hand perhaps being a metaphor for his recent play. Additionally, the episode critiques the team's defensive strategy, especially the poor decision to rush three on the critical late play that put the Bears in position to win as time expired. With the playoffs looming and a match-up against the Eagles next, the fellas are salty, expressing concern over the Packers fate in Philly this Sunday.

Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.

The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to [email protected] and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.
