    To all of you mothers, 

    Whose babies are new,

    Who sleeplessly hold your sweet ones.


    May you find rest,

    And know in your soul,

    You can handle whatever comes. 


    PAUSE


    To all of you moms, 

    Who have little kids,

    Whose values you’re trying to mold. 


    I know it is heavy,

    But Divine is right here,

    Helping you to carry the load. 


    PAUSE


    To all of you mothers, 

    Deep in the teens,

    Doing your best to survive.


    Keep showing up,

    As the mother they need,

    And watch as they thrive.


    PAUSE


    To all of you mamas,

    Whose kids are grown up,

    Carving out paths all alone.


    It can be tough,

    As you learn to let go, 

    And let them live lives of their own. 


    PAUSE


    To all of you souls,

    Who have said goodbye,

    To your mother whose time had come.


    That hole will remain,

    Inside of you,

    Grief braids itself in who you become. 


    PAUSE


    Breathe and relax,

    I deeply honor you. 

    Breathe and sink in,

    To your motherly truth.


    LONG PAUSE


    Feel your motherly essence, 

    Swirl with the past,

    With the women who’ve mothered your soul. 


    Let it surround you,

    As you mother your own,

    Beautiful mama, you are whole. 


    LONG PAUSE


    There is sweet comfort,

    Knowing there is,

    An invisible, unspoken bond.


    Between all us moms, 

    Who won’t judge or pry,

    We’ll do anything to bring calm. 


    PAUSE


    So imagine your kids, 

    And your mother too,

    And all of the mamas around. 


    We’re connected with love,

    That moves mountains,

    The magic is truly profound. 


    PAUSE


    Dear mama, I wish,

    For you to feel me,

    When I say I truly love you.


    I honor your soul,

    And on this Mother’s Day,

    May you feel loved and full.

    Still your mind and body,

    with the quiet of the night.

    Become aware of its

    gentle presence.


    LONG PAUSE


    As you find the connection

    with the night,

    breathe into it,

    allowing the stillness

    to flow in

    and all around you.


    LONG PAUSE


    Feel the stillness expanding,

    Bringing with it

    peace and tranquility.


    Peace and tranquility

    to rest in you and around you.

      

    LONG PAUSE


    Now, visualize a spark of light

    above your head.

    It’s golden-white,

    and full of energy,

    and it radiates 

    just above your head.


    PAUSE


    Take a pause

    and just watch the light,

    as it twinkles and dances.


    After a few moments,

    you notice it’s growing:

    The spark has formed a beam,

    a golden-white beam

    that radiates from your head.


    PAUSE


    Take a deep breath,

    and focus on the beam.

    As you do,

    observe how it grows

    taller and wider.


    Soon, the top of your head

    is aglow with this beautiful light–

    a light that reaches

    toward the heaven.


    PAUSE

     

    After a few moments,

    the light begins 

    changing colors.


    Purple, blue, green,

    orange, red and yellow.

    A kaleidoscope of colors

    shines from your head

    to the heavens. 


    PAUSE


    Now, breathe in again.

    until you feel that 

    radiant beam of color

    really become part of you.

    Part of your mind.

    Part of your body.

    Part of your spirit.


    Hold this beautiful space.


    PAUSE


    Now, gently shift your focus,

    if you can,

    to your heart chakra

    where you notice 

    A slender ray of light

    emanating from your heart.


    PAUSE


    The light pulses and shimmies,

    go in and out at first.

    Then, it becomes steady.


    PAUSE


    As you imagine gazing

    at the light from your chest,

    a feeling of warmth 

    comes over you.

    Warmth and contentment.


    PAUSE


    Breathe into the light,

    and observe how 

    it shines brighter and brighter,

    and you feel more contentment,

    more warmth…

    More Love.


    PAUSE

           

    As the light intensifies,

    an incredible,

    unconditional love

    spreads through you.


    It’s calming,

    relaxing,

    and filled with 

    natural beauty.


    It opens from you

    to the entire world.


    Allow yourself to really feel

    the Peace…

    and Beauty…

    and Joy

    that this love brings.


    PAUSE


    Now, breathe deeply again,

    Slowly,

    Deeply.

    And visualize the brilliant beam of light

    from your head,

    and from your heart.


    See them shining

    with love and peace.

    Feel the calm and contentment

    they embody.

    Breathe these into you.

    Welcome these into you.


    PAUSE


    And, as you continue breathing in

    this pure beauty and love,

    know that you are a conduit

    for this day and night.


    So, let your body and your mind

    drift off to sleep,

    For while they do,

    your inner light will brighten,

    and shine for you and 

    those around you

    when you awaken.

    Soften your body,

    And breathe deeply into it.

    Allow your muscles to just melt

    Into deep relaxation.


    PAUSE


    Feel your body lighten,

    As if floating on sea foam,

    Gently floating.

    Gently drifting.

    Deeper into relaxation.


    PAUSE


    And, as your body relaxes,

    Notice your mind letting go,

    Releasing all those distracting

    Or stressful thoughts.


    Like your body, 

    Your mind just floats.


    PAUSE


    Now, breathe in again,

    And as you do,

    Imagine having the power

    To wipe the stress

    And distracting thoughts

    From your mind.


    PAUSE


    Continue breathing,

    Focusing on breaths that 

    Open and clear your mind.


    PAUSE


    Now, listen as a tiny whisper

    Tickles your ear

    With the word

    “Believe.”

    Hear it repeated

    Over and over.


    Say it to yourself.


    PAUSE



    While hearing the word “believe,” 

    Raise your arm,

    And slowly, gently 

    Move it as if you're wiping a window.


    Repeat the motion a couple of times,

    All while breathing peacefully.

    All while truly believing.


    Know in your heart that

    You are wiping away the

    Tension in your mind,

    The stressful thoughts.

    The pressure you put on yourself.

    Now and in the future.


    PAUSE


    Take a moment,

    And just bask,

    In this place

    Without stressful thinking.


    You have the power to 

    Turn away those things

    From the outside,

    Those things that create 

    tense thoughts and stress.


    You have the power 

    To live in a calm place.

    Enjoy this moment.

    And embrace your power

    Now. Today. And every day

    Into the Future,

    With a simple motion of your hand.

    And that deserves recognition,

    So imagine seeing your boss,

    And to yourself say,

    That if you don’t hear what you want,

    You’ll walk away.


    And cast aside the fear

    Of making a change.

    You can take your time.

    You don’t have to do it today.

    Now breathe, and shift your power,

    To manifesting the job you want.

    See how to create it,

    Beyond your thoughts.

    And, as you keep this vision close,

    You’ll find that it will appear,

    In ways you weren’t expecting,

    Relax.

    Just focus on breathing.

    Feel your breath,

    expand and go deep within you.

    And, as you breathe,

    just let your body relax.

    Visualize any distracting thoughts

    just melting away.

    Peace.

    It’s a state of being,

    a wonderful feeling,

    that is often hard to attain.

    With all the noise in the world,

    the stress of daily life,

    the demands of others,

    peace may feel like it’s 

    always just beyond you.

    To feel peace right now.

    How does peace feel for you?

    the TV blaring some political nonsense,

    or the kids screaming for your attention.

    or the neighbors hammering a new roof.


    Where is your peace now?

    So, breathe deeply again,

    and hear in a whisper 

    the words, “Peace is in me. I am peace.”

    Hear those words,

    and begin whispering them to yourself.

    “Peace is in me. I am peace.”

     

    PAUSE


    Keep breathing 

    and repeating

    “Peace is in me. I am peace.”

    “Peace is in me. I am peace.”

    “Peace is in me. I am peace.’


    PAUSE


    Now, allow yourself to find 

    that peace in you,

    that feeling you experienced

    just a moment ago.


    Find it, hold onto it,

    and keep repeating,

    “Peace is in me. I am peace.”

    “Peace is in me. I am peace.”

    “Peace is in me. I am peace.’

     

    PAUSE


    And, as you walk out the door

    into the new day of the world,

    remember YOU are peace.


    It is in you. 

    And it is yours to share with others,

    so that they know too

    that they are peace.

    With its hands running fast around.

    You put your finger on top of the hand,

    And when your finger lets it go,

    The clock hand starts again.

    On a journey long and fast,

    A journey with no end.

    Now imagine in your life,

    Putting your finger on the clock,

    Stepping back and taking time,

    Giving yourself a needed pause.

    So, take a moment and look at your life,

    With awareness deep and clear,

    That you see places to put your finger,

    And make time for you appear.


    PAUSE


    The challenge now

    Is to trust yourself,

    And be willing to stop time.

    Learning to say “no” is difficult, 

    But if you do,

    All will be fine.

    and as you do,

    awaken your sense of smell.


    PAUSE


    Now, envision smelling

    a smorgasbord of food,

    cooking in the kitchen.


    Meat in a rich broth.

    Aromatic vegetables roasting.

    And delicious chocolate chip cookies baking.


    Take in the smells,

    and the joy to your soul

    that they bring.


    PAUSE


    Now, turn your attention 

    to your sense of taste.


    Imagine standing outside at the ocean,

    tasting a sweet salty breeze.


    Notice how refreshing and grounding it is.

    Feel how it connects you with

    natural life of the beach.


    Hold onto those wonderful feelings

    of connection.


    PAUSE


    Breathe in again,

    And gently rub your fingers together

    While imagining a piece

    Of cool silk between them.


    Feel your hands glide over the silk.

    Feel how sensuous and luxurious

    it is, 

    all at once.


    Bask in the luxurious feelings.

    Observe how they

    heal and energize you.


    PAUSE


    Now, breathe again.

    This time, through all your senses.

    Feel how full and rich they are,

    and how when they are nurtured,

    you feel nurtured.


    Know that you have the power

    to feed your senses,

    and in doing so,

    you nourish yourself.


    Take this with you always.

    Breathe in and relax.

    Focus your breath

    on your root chakra,

    at the base of the spine.

    Breathe into the chakra.


    PAUSE


    While breathing,

    ask the chakra

    what it needs

    for you to be grounded.

    Listen with your heart,

    and visualize the chakra

    being filled

    with the needed energies. 


    PAUSE


    Breathe into your

    sacral chakra,

    into your abdomen,

    below your navel.


    PAUSE


    While breathing,

    ask your sacral chakra

    what it needs 

    for you to create in your life.

    Listen closely,

    and visualize connecting the chakra 

    with the energy to meet that need.


    PAUSE


    Find your core,

    where your solar plexus chakra is,

    and breathe deeply into it.


    PAUSE


    As the breath fills your center,

    ask the chakra what it needs

    for you to feel confident.


    Listen with your heart,

    and gently allow yourself

    to fill that chakra

    with the energies needed.


    PAUSE


    Move your breath 

    into your chest,

    your heart chakra.

    Breathe and ask it what it needs

    for you to love others 

    and yourself.


    Let the answer come.

    See yourself acting on the answer.


    PAUSE


    Shift the focus of your breath

    to your throat chakra.


    Listen gently,

    as you breathe into this chakra.


    Let it tell you 

    how you can communicate

    in ways that connect with others

    and honor yourself.


    Fill the throat chakra with energy.


    Hold close the throat chakra’s wisdom.


    PAUSE


    Now, breathe into the 

    third eye chakra,

    located between your eyebrows.


    Ask the chakra

    what it needs 

    to increase your intuition.


    Listen with your heart,

    and see the chakra

    filled with energy.

    Honor the chakra’s answer.


    PAUSE


    Now, breathe into your crown chakra,

    at the top of your head.

    Let the chakra tell you what it needs

    to deepen your spiritual connections.


    Listen. Visualize energy flowing into this chakra.

    Then commit to honoring the chakra’s needs.

     

    PAUSE


    Take a minute,

    and breathe through 

    all the chakras.

    Let their energies come alive.

    Let their wisdom integrate in you.

    So you feel

    spiritually connected and fulfilled

    as you go about your day.

    Find a comfortable position,

    and let your body just melt into it.

    Feel the relaxation all over.


    PAUSE


    Breathe into the relaxation,

    moving it through your entire body.


    PAUSE


    Stay with your breath,

    as it flows through you,

    with each inhalation,

    bringing deeper relaxation

    and tranquility.


    PAUSE


    Now, go inside.

    Go inside to that place

    where your Inner Child lives.

    That part of you that 

    can be full of joy,

    or that still has

    broken parts to heal.


    PAUSE


    Visualize your Inner Child.

    What do they look like?

    How is their attitude?

    Are they happy or hurting?


    Stay with them until you understand.


    PAUSE


    If your Inner Child is hurting,

    wrap your arms

    around yourself,

    around your Inner Child

    and hold them close.

    Hold yourself and rock

    Your Inner Child.


    Feel the love and nurturing coming to you.


    PAUSE


    Now, take a moment 

    to listen and observe

    your Inner child.


    What do they need?

    Listen closely.


    See if you can understand and feel 

    what they need.


    PAUSE


    Now, see yourself 

    holding hands with your Inner Child.


    Imagine taking a walk with them

    and comforting them,

    supplying them 

    with what they need.


    Hold those feelings close.


    PAUSE


    Take a deep breath now,

    and look in the eyes 

    of your Inner Child.


    From a place of love,

    promise them 

    that you hear them,

    that you will honor them,

    and that you are grateful for them.


    And when you’re ready,

    come back to the present

    and know that you are capable

    of healing your Inner Child.


    Any time. Anywhere.
