Hello! Kale here with some post-season announcements. I promise I wonāt take up too much of your time.Ā
Before I get into it, Iād like to thank everyone for listening to season two of SINKHOLE- I really canāt overstate how much it means to me that so many people are listening to and enjoying my weird little show.
And speaking of season two, Iām going to be doing another Q&A like the one I did after season one! So if youād like to submit a question, you can do that via the SINKHOLE website, sinkholepodcast.com- thereās a button on the front page labelled āSeason 2 Q&A Form,ā just above the list of content warnings.Ā
The other thing I wanted to mention is that you probably shouldnāt expect the same turnaround on season three as you got on season two- Iāve got a lot more on my plate than I did before, and continue to be a full adult human with a full-time job, so I canāt promise another nine-week turnaround.Ā
Speaking of having things on my plate, I wanted to recommend you a podcast to listen to while youāre waiting for season three- the Bloody Disgusting network is releasing a brand-new show in collaboration with Canadian horror artist Trevor Henderson- who some of you may recognize as the creator of Sirenhead.
Mayfair Watcherās Society is a found footage-style horror anthology podcast taking place in a world much like our own, but in which the appearance of interdimensional beings is, while not extremely common, not an altogether strange thing. You can look forward to episodes written by folks like Ben Counter, Addison Peacock, Meg Tuten, Henry Galley, Gus Zagarellaā¦ and Kale Brown.Ā
I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to join this project, and itās been incredibly fun, so I sincerely hope youāll check it out when it comes out in October.Ā
Iām gonna leave you with the Mayfair Watcherās Society trailer, but first: stay safe and try not to fall into any holes.Ā

Some of you have been asking about myā¦ my relocation. Just checking in, you know? And while Iām grateful to those of you who stepped in to ask them to respect my privacy, this is maybe the one case in which the prying was justified.Ā

The city government has never been a friend to the Sink.Ā
Even before it was the Sink. Back when it was justā¦ that spot between downtown and the south end you drove through to get where you were going. Back when it was āRocky Heights.ā

I was told something this morning.Ā
And now Iām going to tell you.
I donāt think Iām supposed to do this, but I do think it would be best if members of this community were to hear this from me before you start finding out from other people and panicking.

This didnāt happen because I wanted to teach you all a lesson, it happened because people are like this sometimes. I talk about this stuff because people do things like this, not the other way around.Ā
Some peopleā¦ just canāt seem to shake the grift. Itās got roots in their bones, I guess.
