As we approach Christmas, we're reminded of the profound mystery of the incarnation - God becoming man in Jesus Christ. The story in Luke 2 isn't just a quaint nativity scene, but a radical invasion of the divine into our world. We see God's heart for all people as He announces the good news to lowly shepherds first. This challenges us to consider: do we truly grasp the magnitude of Emmanuel, God with us?

This Christmas, let's treasure these truths in our hearts like Mary did, finding hope and joy in God's incredible plan of redemption.

Christi and her husband John, a Southern Baptist Pastor, were married for 20+ years when Ashley Madison, a website for married people seeking affairs, was hacked. The list of every person with an account for the site was leaked, and John's name was on that list. In response, John took his own life. Since then, Christi has navigated what it looks like to truly live out the forgiveness that God's grace extends to us.
