The Star Wars podcast that explains it all!
Back again for our third episode in less than seven days, this time with some slightly differing opinions on how the show has progressed. While Merc finds the episode to be one of the best Star Wars live action episodes he's seen, Kutch is a bit less impressed. There's even a debate on whether or not Kh'ymm looks too much like an owl from Harry Potter. Let's jump in!

We continue our analysis of Skeleton Crew with the much shorter episode two. While Mercules takes issue with the characterization of Wim as "suicidally naive", Kutch appreciates the incredible worldbuilding that went into Borgo as a new location and the introduction of our "Jedi". Let's jump in!

Let's chat about or time at Space Con San Antonio, and break down the first episode of the Season 2 finale arc, with an introduction to a new version of Boba Fett that we haven't gotten to spend much time with yet. Let's jump in!

We have finally arrived at one of the strongest arcs in all of the Clone Wars early seasons, with a new introduction to Mandalore and its culture that will have long lasting impacts on new Star Wars canon. Unlike the previous episode, almost every character or setting introduced here matters, and we have a blast learning about them all. Let's jump in!

We return with a true standalone episode which we were surprised to learn came directly from a George Lucas pitch. Not our favorite, but a fun little reference to Stray Dogs, a 1949 Kurosawa film about a police officer who loses his revolver. Let's jump in!

We continue our watch-through with a very typical Clone Wars episode with some fun lightsaber fights and exciting battles, followed by half of an episode which discusses the moral quandary with using Clones, with the other half being a continuation of the less than exciting chase for Grievous. We end up wishing that the focus had been entirely on the Clones, and the question of whether they are allowed to have free-will, but it does lay some interesting groundwork for later seasons of Clone Wars and The Bad Batch. Let's jump in!

We finally end our five episode "Second Battle of Geonosis" arc with a two-part horror story line, which we find to be one of the most unique stories told in all of Clone Wars. Somehow managing to delightfully toe the line between scary and fun, it leaves both of us wishing we had more horror themes in Star Wars content. Let's jump in!
