The original idea was to post this around my birthday in March, after getting about halfway through I realized March wouldn't happen because... well, I was only about halfway through. I parked it to focus on other things. Then came incredibly sad news about friend and Space Cowboy, Danny. He was always a fan of the BBQ sets, and frequently asked when I'd get to another. Breakfast of Champions + It’s a New Day is always the best party of the year and I love the event because it’s indeed a new day and everyone is there full of optimism for a fresh start. It’s always an honor to play there and it was also my first time playing on the Mog, about a decade after dancing to DJs on the Mog inspired me to DJ! Not sure how it happens but this party just keeps getting better and better! The weather this year was amazing once again, the lineup was top notch and we had more people, more hugs and more love than ever before. Being one of the first few DJ’s to get the party started I put together a head nodding chunky house set that blends into some tech house bombs and finally into some deep breaks at the end. Another one for the record books! Breakfast of Champions is always my favorite party of the year, and I love going all out with my set!
