Season 15, Episode 85 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers having two more players, G Isaac Seumalo and QB Russell Wilson, added to the annual Pro Bowl Games this week as alternates.

We discuss whether being added as a Pro Bowl alternate should count for anything when it comes to a player's career resume.

Steelers team president Art Rooney II is making his annul media rounds this week to give his thoughts on the 2024 season as well as the future of the organization moving into the 2025 season. As usual, Rooney gave us quite a few talking points to parse.

Alex and I go over what Rooney had to say about the quarterback position heading into the offseason. Is QB Justin Fields the apple of Rooney's eye this offseason? What about the possibility of the Steelers drafting a quarterback this year? We discuss everything related to that position based on comments Rooney recently made.

We also discuss the positional needs for the offseason that Rooney hit on as well as his thoughts on his continued trust in HC Mike Tomlin. Rooney also discussed the size of the coaching staff, potential changes to the staff and how he thought OC Arthur Smith did in his first season in Pittsburgh.

Rooney made it sound like OLB T.J. Watt will be extended this offseason, so we discuss that topic. We also discuss what Rooney said about WR George Pickens moving forward. We also go over it sounding like RB Najee Harris won't be back in 2025 and if the Steelers would dare think about drafting another running back in the first round again.

We go over Rooney saying the team really didn’t learn anything from the drafting and subsequently failing of QB Kenny Pickett now that he's gone from the organization.

Alex and I make sure to try to hit on everything relevant that Rooney said these last two days and most of this episode is dedicated to his media sessions this week.

Season 15, Episode 84 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the two NFL Conference Championship games that took place on Sunday that resulted in the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles set to play in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

We spend some time talking about what we learned from the final four teams in the 2024-2025 playoffs as it relates to the Pittsburgh Steelers moving forward and especially when it comes to the quarterback position.

After discussing the several former Steelers players that will be on the two teams playing for this year's Super Bowl, Alex and I discuss the Steelers' process of attempting to land their next franchise quarterback at some point during a draft.

Should the Steelers seriously consider trading S Minkah Fitzpatrick this offseason? That seems to be a topic right now with the offseason now underway, so Alex and I dive deep into a conversation related to that and the plausibility of it actually happening.

Veteran QB Joe Flacco is being linked as a possibility for the Steelers this offseason, so Alex and I make sure to briefly hit on that topic.

With both of the major college all-star game weeks underway, Alex and I have a few discussions about a few more players that we have studied. We talk about Nebraska DL Ty Robinson, Texas Tech RB Tahj Brooks, and even Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty. We go over the explosive run rates for the two running backs later in this show as well.

Steelers QB Russell Wilson was on The Pat McAfee Show this week and Alex and I go over the key things he said during that interview. We also discuss the possibility of Wilson reuniting with HC Pete Carroll now that he's been named the new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

What will the demand be this offseason for Wilson and Steelers QB Justin Fields with both players scheduled to become unrestricted free agents in March? Alex and I discuss that topic for a bit.

Is there a legitimate chance that Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins lands in Pittsburgh this offseason? Alex and I discuss my thoughts on that topic based on a post I wrote on Thursday.
