    Los Angeles; Sr. Managing Director, Producers & Engineers Wing and Recording Technology, Recording Academy. A former recording engineer, Maureen has worked on GRAMMY winning recordings for artists including Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Santana—as well as well as on numerous other projects, including two Billboard Number One Dance songs. She has a degree in Broadcast Communication Arts from California State University, San Francisco, and has taught seminars on the theory and practice of recording for companies including ABC and CBS Television. She has also worked in both artist and studio management, was the longtime Los Angeles editor for Mix magazine, and has published three books related to recording. Her most recent, co-written with its subject, is Al Schmitt on the Record: The Magic Behind the Music, chronicling the life and career of the most awarded recording engineer in history.

    Anthony Vanchure is an Emmy-nominated Supervising Sound Editor who has strengthened a variety of projects in television and film with his unique talents and precise creative approach. Most recently, Anthony has been celebrated for his work on Roku’s Weird: The Al Yankovic Story directed by Eric Appel and starring Daniel Radcliffe, which he spearheaded with his regular collaborator Mike James Gallagher. In addition, Anthony earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Sound Editing in Amazon’s
    acclaimed documentary Lucy and Desi, directed by Amy Poehler. Anthony is also serving as supervising sound editor on Apple’s upcoming original film Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me, which is set to open AFI Fest 2022.

    Mike James Gallagher is an Emmy-nominated sound designer who has elevated many films and television shows with his wide-ranging talents. Mike began his professional sound design career on the short film, Verbatim, which was an official
    selection at Sundance Film Festival. He went on to work on Netflix’s 1922, an adaptation of a Stephen King novella, Netflix’s Song Exploder, a series based on the popular podcast, HBO’s Phoenix Rising, and Hulu/FX’s Hysterical. He is also extremely passionate about sound design education, having produced and directed masterclasses for Oscar-winning sound designers Richard King and Mark Mangini.

    Lenise Bent is one of the first women audio engineers & honed her skills on many iconic records including “Aja” by Steely Dan and “Breakfast in America” by Supertramp. She is the first woman engineer to receive a platinum album for Blondie’s “AutoAmerican” album which includes “The Tide is High” and the very first hit rap song with music, “Rapture”. Lenise is also a post-production audio professional, specializing in recording and editing foley sound effects for many films and animated series and has traveled the world for Dreamworks supervising the foreign dialogue recording and producing the vocals for such animated features as “Shrek”, “Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron” and “Shrek 2”. She also archives and repairs audio, and instructs and consults for singer/songwriters. Lenise is a long-standing member of the Audio Engineering Society, the Producers & Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy, and a voting member of NARAS. She is also a proud member SoundGirls, Women’s Audio Mission (WAM), Women in Music, the prestigious Hollywood Sapphire Group, The Blues Foundation, IASA (International Association of Sound Archivists), and ARSC (Assoc. of Recorded Sound Collectors). Though primarily working in digital recording formats, Lenise recently produced and engineered an all-analog recording with blues/rock/Indy band Primal Kings, recording to 2” tape, mixing to 1⁄2” and cut to vinyl from tape, all analog and entirely out of the box.     Anne-Marie Ront: Sound Designer at Ubisoft Toronto

    Anne-Marie Ront is a proficient, creative, and technical Sound Designer at Ubisoft Toronto. She has been working on highly regarded AAA video games for the past 5 years. Her work can be heard on Far Cry 6, Far Cry 5 and Starlink: Battle for Atlas. Previously, she was freelancing as a Dialog Editor, Sound Designer and Re-Recording Mixer working with various types of media for a number of studios/companies. With a background in music and computer programming, Anne-Marie found herself shifting out of her previous career in programming to solely focus on post production audio in 2010.     Jon Ostrin: John Legend’s Monitor Engineer and Veteran Live Mixer

    Jon Ostrin has been working in live audio for 36 years. He worked my way up from shop tech, touring as an audio tech, mixing FOH and Mons for support acts, and settled in as a FOH engineer for about 25 years with such artists as Toto, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Onigo Boingo just to name a few. He moved to the Monitor position with John Legend in ‘08 where he still remains today.
