Hi, Hi, Hi! 2Legs: A Paul McCartney podcast is hosted by Tom Hunyady and Andy Nicholes. As fans of McCartney's we explore his entire career. Email us at [email protected], Facebook at 2Legs Podcast or Twitter @2Legspodcast
Happy Weekend 2Legs Faithful! Ringo might be getting all the headlines this week (and rightly so, but the Macca Train keeps rolling along!).
A topic oft discussed in general but never tackled by us! On this week's show Andy and Tom list their Top 10 favourite Macca Collaborations over the years. We define "Collaboration" as: A song Paul wrote for someone else, someone else's song he sang/played on, a song of his that he did with someone else.
Shoutout and appreciation to friend Kyle Hand for the suggested topic!
We had some obvious choices but we both had some choices that were surprises to us both! What say you?
Who are your Top 10 Macca Collabs over the years? Newer? Older? Well known? Not so well known? Let us knowÂ

Happy New Year All!
We start 2025 with a lively discussion with none other than our friend Dr. Kenneth Womack, (Author and Professor of English/Music at Monmouth University). Ken, typically is writing/lecturing strictly on The Beatles but he is also a huge Wings fan.
In this episode, we trace Ken's fandom with Paul/Wings and also simultaneously learning The Beatles catalog at the same time in the late 1970s which sounds pretty Fab!
We navigate our discussion throughout the main Wings canon of albums, hear some stories about current students views on The Beatles, how younger people prefer physical media over digital (Win!) and more.
Lastly, Ken gives us an update on the Mal Evans Diaries project expected this year and another big surprise! See you at the Fest in March Ken!
Peace!
Andy and Tom
Well we made it! Another year down! 2024 certainly had it's share of major Macca/Beatles/Solo releases. For our final episode of the year, Andy and Tom recap the year that was for Macca. Releases (Underdubbed/OHC/SHM's) Books/Tours/Notable Tributes and we pick our favourite moments of the year. (Kinda easy choice for Andy this year! LOL). We also look at what could be 'Coming Up' for 2025 for Paul! What was your Top Macca Related Release for 2024? Wish list for 2025? Let us know in the comments!
Thank you for our BEST year yet ever for 2Legs!
Your support of our show really took us to meeting new friends, traveling to new locations all in love of our guy - James Paul McCartney Rock On 2025!
Wishing you all a peaceful and prosperous New Year! :)
Andy and Tom
Andy & Tom welcomed Allan Kozinn and Adrian Sinclair and we celebrated the publication release of The McCartney Legacy Volume 2! The book is available NOW! "Do It Now" as the "Man Said".
Â
A very rare LIVE episode for us this week! Out now is Volume 2 of Luca Perasi's "Music Is Ideas: Stories Behind The Songs: 1990-2012". Luca Perasi joined us and answered questions from our YouTube audience!Â
Music Is Ideas, The Stories Behind The Songs Volume 2 (1990-2012)
Now And Then - One Year On. Hard to believe that fact but it's here.
Joining Andy and Tom (as he did a year ago upon release) again is Mitch Axelrod for Episode 265. Mitch is the author of Beatletoons, Co-Host of the "Fab 4 Free 4 All" Podcast and excellent FB group.
Mitch also helped produce a video on the popular channel Parlogram about the Beatles US cartoons. As Mitch wrote the book - it was an excellent choice. Congrats! Link is below.
We tackled A LOT in this episode. How does Mitch feel the song sounds a year later? Does it have staying power? It's inclusion now in Paul's live shows. It's legacy, how it will stand next to 'Free As A Bird', 'Real Love', all of it.
We discuss recent Beatles News, Beatles Marketing Strategies & Product, (Gnomes & Cubes Oh My!) and towards the end Mitch gives us HIS top 10 Worst Solo Paul songs. (A show we did a few weeks back but Mitch was unable to join).
We had a very fun and enjoyable chat (as we always do with Mitch!)
How do you feel about N&T one year later?
The same? Stronger? Weaker? Let us know in the comments!
Welcome To November 2Legs Listeners!
For our first new show of the month we revisit a series we did a few weeks back called "Divided Albums." This time we chose that oft-neglected and overlooked Spring 1976 LP Wings at The Speed of Sound. This album routinely ranks pretty low in the Macca/Wings canon by most fans/critics because of its paint by numbers democratic approach. Despite having two huge hit singles in 'Silly Love Songs' (US #1) and 'Let 'Em In' (US #3). Which makes the album kind of an anomaly in his career. We both think it's a fine album but in the career of Paul McCartney some albums will naturally outshine others. Does it divide the fanbase? Probably. How do you rank the tracks and the album overall? Let us know in the comments!
Peace!
Andy and Tom
40 Years Ago - This film premiered. Lotta discussions since then. Pro and Con. A mistake or not. Either way - This week on 2Legs Andy and Tom are joined by Give My Regards To Broad Street expert - Mr. Ed Crawford for a 40th Anniversary Re-Watch with commentary.
Musical scenes are the highlights of course. Light on plot, sure. But it's Paul! And we love it! We hope you enjoy our conversation throughout the film.

Welcome Back 2Legs Faithful! Well this week we tackle something different!
Our Top 10 Worst/Least Favourite Macca Songs.
So much of our show is about what we love about Paul but like everyone - there are duds in the catalog. This week Andy and Tom sound off on their Top 10 Worst Solo Macca Songs!
What are your Worst/Least Fav Solo Paul Songs?
Have a great weekend!
Andy & Tom
At long last we finally got around to recording this one! Author and Music Journalist Mr. Eoghan Lyng (Culture Sonar/Stripped), U2 On Track, George Harrison In The 1970s, joins Andy and Tom for Episode 261. In Part III of the Paul and George relationship we examine their mainly George's icy comments directed at Paul between the years 1982 and 1988.
A lot happened during this interval of time. Yoko, George and Ringo discovered the infamous "McCartney Clause" in 1983 setting off a series of lawsuits which ultimately resulted in Paul not attending the Beatles 1988 Induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
George's comments on Broad Street, George's continued projects with HandMade Films as well as his commercial success with Cloud Nine are discussed in this episode with Eoghan.
We will likely wrap up this series sometime in 2025 with a fourth and final installment which will carry us through the 1990s, Anthology, George's untimely passing in 2001, culminating with the celebration of life that was/is the Concert For George in November 2002.

Peace Andy & Tom
