Episode 318 | The Results We Deserved

Everybody alright? Oka, let’s get to it. The team is back after the election to give their thoughts on where they think the democratic party went wrong with the presidential race. While the rest of the world focused on the election, Kai Cenat is on 24 hour streaming duty with Mafiathon, and has been hitting headlines because of some controversial guests. Questions are raised regarding his responsibility to his young audience, as well as his guests responsibility to their ex girlfriends. T.I. and Young Thug have been seen together making music, and the guys are wondering who else Thug can keep around (other than Mariah The Scientist) to keep him out of trouble and off of drugs. We talk all of the new music that’s come out that we love, and give Freddie Gibbs his flowers, including a controversial take about his catalog made by none other than Rory himself. We have voicemails! The first caller is a man who wants his geriatric football playing friend to hang up his cleats, and the second caller is a man who got the ick from a woman being fanned out.

    Episode 317 | You Chose A Side

Welcome to November! The gang is back after an eventful halloween weekend! They catch up with each other (2:20), and gain some clarity on some tweets made over that time frame by a crew member (12:35). This leads to a convo about the clutch time thinking of a man when told to go to the store to get condoms during an intimate moment (14:19), before we react to the news of Young Thug gaining his freedom, and consider what that might mean for him and his career (24:08). Drake was active outside as well - his attendance at Vince Carter’s jersey retirement ceremony game and alleged threats to Demar DeRozan went viral, and the guys give their thoughts (37:54). Meanwhile, Lil Wayne did a HotBoyz reunion at Lil Weezyana fest, and his performance confirmed what many already believed in regard to his request for a Superbowl performance (55:00). Tyler the Creator is coming for his respect with his sales hitting almost 300K for the first week of his latest project, will he be the first rapper to see Taylor Swift numbers (1:09:42)? Dj Envy is in hot water with the internet after a video of his daughter in a Lil Kim costume went viral, and Rory gives his opinion as a father (1:19:40). Speaking of viral, another Cam Newton clip is making its rounds, with an accompanying message from his current girlfriend about the openness of their relationship (1:29:03). We have voicemails! The first is from a man checking Rory’s temperature about an alleged incident involving women (14:35), and the second is from a guy trying to decide if his coworker is flirting with him (1:51:11).

    Episode 316 | Spooky News

Did you pay your rent yet? Well, go do that and then come back. Okay. Now that you’re back, Happy Belated Halloween! The crew is in the studio, in costume (except Mal), and in the spirit. First on the docket - Mal is clipped up multiple times in Megan Thee Stallion’s new documentary ‘In Her Words’, and he calls her and the production team out for only acknowledging his bad words and not the good. They double down on previous things said about her case. Demaris gets vulnerable about a dream she had about Meg, forcing Mal and Rory to call each other about some live show habits. 6ix9ine and Diddy are allegedly in the same correctional facility, and the jokes arise about how prison life would suit each of us. Speaking of Diddy, his sons are on a p r e s s run, and Ray J is their focal point. Do you think they have the right to press people for speaking on their father’s sins? Speaking of a full court press, Ari Lennox is tired of Dreamville and Interscope playing in her face, and Rory & Mal are on her side. Metro Boomin has some nasty allegations out about him, Snoop & Dr. Dre are coming out with an album Mal swears no one wants, AND we have voicemails! The first leads us to discussing closure, clitori, and albatross’, and the second has the guys allllll in a bartenders pockets.

Episode 315 | Tyler 'CHROMAKOPIA' vs Tyler 'Love Is Blind' (feat. Clay)

We’re back! Happy Tuesday! We start this episode by giving some flowers to legendary DJ Clarke Kent (1:43). Rory immediately goes from love to smoke, addressing journalist Toure’s comment towards Mal, while calling him out on some allegations (6:19). Tyler The Creator has dropped his latest project, and the guys give their review off their first listen, with Rory clearing up his statement on Patreon that is receiving criticism from the hip-hop community (12:45). Lil Durk has been arrested in connection to a murder-for-hire plot, and the guys have some things to say to the people on the internet about the rhetoric surrounding the case (30:30). We then have our Love Is Blind correspondent, Clay Gravesande, join us to give his thoughts on the latest season (46:45). He gives his thoughts on the lasting couples, the Tyler & Ashley debacle that’s taken the internet by storm (1:00:52), his current standing with Willow Ryder after the previous drama (1:35:02), and how he feels about AD being on a new dating show (1:41:14).  We have voicemails! A man wants to know if we knew about the group trend of men sharing underwear (1:45:00), + more!

Episode 314 | Palms Are Sweaty

Happy Friday Gang! Rory is back and complaining as usual, this time about how Demaris managed to out ‘Karen’ him… if that’s even possible (01:14). After a heated debate about whats too far when sending your friend to the deli on an errand, they briefly discuss Bronny’s moment with his dad and before giving Tommy Richman his (well-deserved) lashings about claiming to not be a hip-hop artist while submitting for the rap categories at the Grammys (19:48). Who is to blame for this being allowed - the Grammys, the rap legends before us, or is it all on us as the consumers (38:25)? Mal is on Obama’s ass for playing the race card when trying to get people to vote for Kamala, and we all take a second to decide if Eminem (or any other celebrity) is really going to swing the vote when it comes to any election (53:16). Tyler is getting the people outside as well with his $5 listening session at arenas (1:07:03), but Rory cant make it - he’s been inside cautiously since finding out he made Drake’s alleged “opp list” (1:11:40). We have voicemails! The first is from a man who is holding on to some very funny childhood trauma (1:17:48), the next is from a man who is giving money to women who don't like him (1:26:01), and finally our Baltimore fellow is calling in for advice on how to deal with a woman who rubbed his poverty in his face (1:36:52).

Episode 313 | We Cry Together

Happy Tuesday, gang! The team hasn't seen each other in a while because of tour so we come in, catch up, and get to the sh*ts! While Rory & Mal were holding down the fort in the 6, and Julian was in the Carolinas trying to asses the damage done by his GOAT (15:40), Demaris was in New York at an event called 'Bottle Wars', causing the team to pass well-deserved judgement over her and what she does in her free time (21:00). Speaking of judgement, is Martha Stewart a bad person (25:40)? The iconic businesswoman has a documentary coming out October 30th, and in it she discusses what led to the dissolution of her marriage - including some secrets she kept for over 30 years. We discuss some other things we're currently watching, including Love Is Blind, and consider bringing Clay back as a correspondent (36:00). In other media news, the democrats put on an advertising masterclass (insert sarcasm) with their latest voting ad (39:58). The team is split on how they feel about it. Kendrick sat down with SZA for a chat for Harper's Bazaar, and we discuss some of the things both artists said that touched us personally (54:45). Julian is over the moon about a new Tyler project that's coming next week, we review his latest snippet, and give our usual predictions on what we expect and hope for with his forthcoming release (1:13:19). We have voicemails! The first is a guy whose lying a** ex won't leave his momma and church home alone (1:31:10), and the second (trigger warning: STI'S, Depression, self-harm) is from a guy who tried to fornicate his way through depression, and ended up catching an incurable STI (1:53:06).

    Episode 312 | 3rd Leg Of Separation

Big Friday tings! The guys recently discovered that Angel Reese has a podcast, and recently hosted an episode with model Kayla Nicole that went viral when Kayla explained why dressing up as Teyana Taylor was her most embarrassing moment (2:16). Meanwhile, Mal is having a hard time understanding why women allegedly don't take accountability for being wrong or apologize, which leads into a conversation about being self-aware, as Julian presents us with a study (and Mal presents Rory with examples) to show us just how unaware we are (16:15). Julia Fox said that dating Kanye West was the worst thing that ever happened to her, and Azealia Banks tore her a new one (34:35). Kanye's mental health becomes the topic, and we ask each other about the biggest mental health hurdle we've ever had to deal with from a significant other (41:52). Speaking of issues, a man named Gucci3rdLeg exists. We don't STD shame, but we encourage everyone to never provide fellatio to a Corpus spongiosum that has an open lesion, for their own health and safety (48:35). We have voicemails! The first one is from a man asking if his coworker is mentally off for buying her own flowers (1:05:16), and the second is a woman who's boo has some friends crossing boundaries (1:17:31).

Episode 311 | Are Journalists Bigger Than Artists?

Happy Tuesday Gang! The crew is back after. Long weekend of nothing. We start with some light banter, and then discuss an interesting theory Rory has about the last few releases from the Big 3 not being on DSP's, and how that will affect how artists release music moving forward (09:58). On another side of twitter, Russ got into a war with the journalists about who needs who more - the journalists or the artists. We discuss whether you can maintain journalistic integrity if your interview is sponsored by the artist (28:58). Speaking of journalism in hip-hop, Wayno is currently being criticized for his comments about Dreamville v. TDE after sharing info from private conversations had backstage at Dreamville Fest (57:22). He calls in to stand on business, as well as clear up misconceptions that people might have (1:12:41). GloRilla is given her flowers for her new album 'Glorious' (1:19:12) quickly, before Demaris and Mal get into a spirited discussion about which one of them is the bigger gaslighter (1:27:13). Comment and let us know who you think it is. We have voicemails! The first is from a woman who is married but still in love with her ex and wants advice on how to move forward (1:22:58), and the next is from a teacher is trying to figure out a way to make certain inappropriate slang stop being used in her classroom (1:46:30). We also discuss Bronny & his dad's first game together, Bow Wow's comments on Diddy missing from the black Hollywood scene, Ty Dolly $'s viral track leak, + more!

Episode 310 | Cole Is Free

Happy Friday guys. Without much do, we get right into conversation that has taken over the culture - J. Cole's song 'Port Antonio' that addresses his feelings on the rap beef and his place in (and outside of) it. The conversation gets heated as the cast cant seem to reach an agreement on Cole's drop and the future of his career, as well as why he should or shouldn't ever speak about the beef again. Eventually we move on and discuss YSL Woody and Jussie Smollett both dying on the hill that houses their insane lies (1:01:48). Speaking of legendary liars, Jaguar Wright put Piers Morgan in a sticky situation with Beyoncé and Jay-Z's lawyers (1:07:25). We have voicemails! The first one is about a guy wanting advice on whether or not to lie on his resume (1:14:33), and the second wants advice on how to avoid being a fuckboy (1:23:09).

Episode 309 | Billion Dollars On An Elevator

Happy Tuesday Gang! The whole team is back from a busy weekend, and getting back into the swing of things. We start off recapping our discord live chat that we had with our patreon members, and the advice we gave to one of our own (4:00). Mal actually left the house this weekend, so we get a movie review and his side of the story of how he spent a night out with Rory & friends (22:30). The internet is claiming that a famous NFL star is the culprit that tore Cardi’s family apart, we speculate and catch up on the latest drama with the famous couple (33:41). Mal insists that this level of wh*ring is exclusive to the new women, while Rory gets vulnerable and tells the truth about why his family ran to America (44:48). The internet is also in an uproar about an alleged shot to Jay-Z from Drake via an instagram story post; Rory & Mal butt heads on what exactly it could mean (58:55). Kendrick made his Grammy submissions (what do you think he’ll win?) (1:17:35) while Safaree got kicked out of Gag City (1:25:35). Would you be excited to see tyga as an opening act? Let us know in the comments. Mal refuses to ask his artist friends for tickets and that causes a discussion about appearing too cool (1:33:48). We have voicemails! The first is from the a guy who doesnt like the amount of makeup his gf wears (1:52:19), and the second is from a young woman asking us for help with getting her family to accept the idea(1:59:25). After voicemails, Mal shares with us his favorite part of having a twin sister, and we give a review on the Menendez brothers story as well as Aaron Hernandez’ (2:28:00).

Episode 308 | Entertainment Purposes Only...

We have a bit of a morbid rolling start. Julian saved a woman’s life which led to other near deleted experiences. We hard transition into Jaguar Wright’s appearance on Piers Morgan (10:15). We speculate over her claims about Jay-Z and his alleged involvement with the Diddy camp and beyond. Does Jaguar have credibility? And should she be allowed on these platforms? Into actual music, “Million Dollar Baby” man, Tommy Rich, claims he “isn’t hiphop” (21:14). We discuss him possibly being the next Post Malone. But at what cost? Beyonce has submitted ‘Cowboy Carter’ for the Grammy Country category. We go over her credibility and bring up Luke Combs recent comments about Beyonce (28:46). It’s officially spooky season and the hottest costume this year is the BBL Drizzy from Fashionova (43:55). Staying on viral news, Moo Deng is the official mascot off the podcast (sorry Baisley) (48:00). Then we send our condolences to everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. It’s time for voicemails (59:15). We cover three callers today. We discuss getting a girlfriend’s name tatted, friends beefing over the same girl, and do heavy girls still give the best gawk? Tune in as the guys discuss all of this and more!
