Happy Friday Gang! The crew is fresh off a week of bonding outings, going crazy at Madison Square Garden and the french restaurants. Julian and Demaris give a recap of their date at the J. Cole concert, including posing a question to the room of which of the big 3 have the finest female fans. Rory and the crew are insistent on claiming Cole as a NY rapper, while Mal isn’t having it and explains why. SZA is dropping a new album today, and Rory gives his opinion on dropping a “deluxe” to an album that was released two years ago. Speaking of the past popping up in the present, Lil’ Wayne and Chris Brown are among many celebrities to be named by Business Insider for misusing covid relief funds. We explain the accusations and talk about what could possibly come from this. Lil’ Baby makes his stance clear on working with Gunna again, and Chance the Rapper celebrates his freedom. The Yankees players have picked up a player that is eskimo brothers with another player - and the boys think it might be detrimental to the team. We have voicemails! The first one is from a woman who needs help after losing a relationship with a “friend”. The second is from a woman who had a terrible experience with a business - forcing us to call the business and stand ten toes down for our listeners!

We’re back! Over the weekend Rory & Mal had their show in NYC, packed out with listeners and supporters… and some bold haters too. Mal & Rory share a moment they had during meet and greet that tested Mal’s maturity. Julian and Demaris are just bursting at the seams about the J Cole show that they were on their way to, and Mal is still making fun if them and him about the events post beef. Jay-Z’s accuser comes forward to defend the inaccuracies in her story about the alleged assault, and the team doubles down on the story never making sense to them. Cardi B exposed some text messages from ex-beloved offset making pleas to engage sexually with her again, and the gang makes fun of being down bad over a woman. Trina helped Billboard and Tres Genaraciones come up with the 10 Get Up Anthems from Miami artists, and the guys challenge her list. Rory walks back his take on the new Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre album, and recommends it to Mal and the listeners. CookingWithKya has the young internet in an uproar, but luckily for the haters Tiktok wont be around for much longer, so whats next for the creators that have made that their home? We make predictions. Chris Rock had a monologue on SNL where he address Luigi killing the UHC CEO, if you havent heard it go check it ouT. Finally, we have voicemails. The first is from a woman who thinks her boyfriend may be DL… we confirm that for her. The second is a gentleman asking about the least attractive accents on women, and which Biggie features are the best.

Happy Friday Gang! Rory insists on giving us an update on his sickness (and in addition, how his Karma is Beautiful), and the rest of us try to rationalize why Julian insists on going to a barber that hates him (2:33). This leads to a conversation on what names we would have if we race swapped, causing Rory to remember how he was endangered the other day being pulled over by a cop in Manhattan, as the straight white male he is (15:25). As we were recording this, there was absolute turmoil happening on the hip-hop timeline, as our selected representatives for black love, Remy Ma and Papoose, were feuding and airing dirty laundry for the world to see (35:50). Speaking of dirty laundry, mattress actress Lily Philips is under scrutiny for clips of her admitting to having difficulty with her self-inflicted feat of sleeping with over 100 men in under 24 hours, and the team is split on whether she had the right to stop after number 30 or not (52:41). Jamie Foxx’s new special ‘What Had Happened Was’ aired this week on Netflix to mixed reviews, and the team gives their opinion on whether it was entertaining or not (1:18:31). Caitlin Clark was named Time magazine's Athlete of the Year - did she deserve it (1:37:00)? And why are her supporters kicking her back in for the statement she made in the interview? Bill Belicheck is back in the game, and the guys break it down in to 'girl terms' for Demaris (1:45:27). We have voicemails (1:50:10)! Both are follow ups from previous callers, the first being with the guy who needed advice on how to break the co-dependency from his wife. This leads to a conversation about which NRM member will be the next to have children (or possibly, become a murderer, depends). The second voicemail is from a woman who believed her mother is lying about her biological father (2:03:45). We end the episode with predictions on who will headline the final Dreamville fest this spring, as well as some interesting predictions about Jay-Z and Beyonce’s career paths moving forward (2:10:19).

Happy Monday! We’re back in full force… well, some of us. Two of us are one bad pothole away from a horrific accident. Rory starts with a storytime about his weekend solo parenting (3:18), and then we get into the newest allegations (20:28). TW: S3xual Assault. Jay-Z has been accused of SA’ing a 13 year old girl in 2000 alongside Diddy. We address the info that has come out, and give our honest take on it. The UHC shooter has allegedly been caught… heavy on the ‘allegedly' (58:26). Anyway, its List SZN! Forbes kicks it off with their Top 50 Best Rappers of all time, and The New York Times has their Top songs of the year (1:07:12). We have voicemails! The first is from a guy who is in a codependent marriage and needs help gaining independence (1:40:45), the second is from a man who needs help with his relationship with his brother who had a hand in unaliving their mom (1:50:00).

Happy Friday Gang! The Apple Replays have dropped and the NRM team talks about what their lists are looking like (1:40). Soon after, they give honest opinions on the United Healthcare CEO that was killed in broad daylight in NYC, and what morning routine they would have before committing the same crime (14:00). Charlamagne had some comments about people defending Drake’s lawsuit (33:40), and Andrew Schultz had some words in response to a Kendrick Lamar bar (38:18). Nick Cannon addresses Orlando Brown’s comments about alleged fellatio between them, and since he was diagnosed as a narcissist, we try to see if there were any in the office (58:44). The trial for Daniel Penny (the ex marine who killed a man on NYC transit) is underway, and the guys wonder if they could ever be vigilantes (1:16:49). We have voicemails! The first is from a man who wants to go to Brazil against his wife's will (1:40:13), and the second is from a woman who has feelings about her cut of her parents will being less than her sisters (1:52:28).

Happy Tuesday Gang! We're back from Thanksgiving break. After a quick recap about how Rory destroyed his skin barrier and Mal took a serious loss, we recap what we missed during our time off. Kai Cenat concluded his Mafiathon stream and we discuss some of the highlights, including Druski being mean to children, and Kai being pranked by a magician (27:47). Da Baby is under fire for teaching his daughter how to shoot a gun, and we speak on how different the outlook on guns is depending on the region of the USA you come from (40:21). We come back and give a more detailed opinion on the Drake petitions- Rory has his tinfoil du-rag on, coming in hot with a few conspiracy theories about Drake as well as Kendrick (42:18). After a brief debate about Beyonce v. Kendrick and the supposed numbers for their respective NFL show audiences (1:10:16), we discuss J. Cole celebrating his 10 year anniversary of the 2014 Forest Hill Drive album, and having a one night only concert at Madison Square Garden, with some interesting ways for fans to secure a ticket (1:28:09). We have voicemails! The first one is from a man asking our opinion on the biggest “fall off’s” from artists in rap (1:38:52), and we debate who our choices would be. The second voicemail is from a man who needs co-parenting/disciplinarian advice for him and his girl (2:10:02).

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday! We are on break, but we've decided to give you guys a previously Patreon-exclusive episode in the meantime.
Today is a special day. Today is the day the tables turn. Mal loses his cool and leans completely into his fanhood. The stars of his favorite show of all time ‘How To Make It In America’ come in to chat about the journey of becoming actors in NYC. They recap their journey with the show, and why it had to prematurely end. They share exclusive memories with filming with Kid Cudi and Pusha T before they became the stars they are now, as well as special times with Heath Ledger and Meryl Streep.

MUSTAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDD. Have yall heard the album yet? We have. After a quick recap about the Atlanta show, the guys get into their review of the new Kendrick Lamar project ‘GNX’ (07:54). They also discuss whether there’s another album coming, why we think Baby Keem isnt on the album, as well as whether Lil Wayne should respond or not. In the middle of our recording day, the news dropped that Drake was filing a motion against his licensing partner Universal Music Group, alleging that Kendrick’s Not Like Us track was pushed by the label purposely to affect Drake in multiple ways (55:59). The team goes into explaining the article and allegations, and they also speak on what this could mean for the music industry in the future. Drake also went on a stream earlier this weekend, doubling down on his beef with a few r&b artists, and it brings up conversation about the media outlets Drake chooses to sit with and the criticism he’s received in the past for it (1:12:06). Also discussed: Shaboozey getting snubbed by the CMA’s (1:31:36), which NRM team member is the meanest, and the ozempic allegations being put on Lizzo (1:35:19). We have voicemails! The first one is from a guy who has developed a health condition in his mid twenties that he's embarrassed about (1:51:31), and the second is from a man who wants to know if anybody on the team has ever had a “right person, wrong time” scenario (2:02:07).

A gang of chill guys (and girl) just podding. YKTV. The spirit of the latest meme has infected the team, and they are all delusionally convinced that they are the chillest on the team (1:23). Speaking of chill guys, did you know that the cool guys with 5 inches are now in (9:38)? Anywho, Jay Leno has found himself in quite a predicament, and the guys dig into their detective bags to try to figure out what reaally gave him that black eye (15:35). Jeff Stamos is trying to fool us with a wig cap, and Mal is confused why Denzel is trying to fool us by saying he kissed a man on set (26:18). Speaking of conspiracies, Rory wants to know why the red pill/tinfoil hat community has nothing to say about Elon or Kim Kardashian, and Mal doesn’t believe that Kai is actually sleeping on his stream (42:42). Meanwhile, J. Cole’s podcast dropped, and Rory has some complaints for the team, and also wants to nominate ‘The Come Up’ for a Best New Album grammy, which causes a debate about just how much the average fan knows about their favorite artist (54:06). We finally address the Grammy nominations (1:13:13), and then get into voicemails (1:25:25). The first one is from a man who wants to cheat on his girlfriend bc her libido had decreased, and the second is from a guy who wants to know how to handle a money situation that's tearing his family apart.

Gang is all back in town! After a long vacation filled with barefoot R&B synths and TMZ interviews, Rory is finally back at work. The team briefly catches up with him, before getting into a debate about the historic (snore, snore) fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson (6:12). They have some conversation regarding content creating and Netflix's next moves before finally addressing the fail that was Bill Burr's post-election monologue (29:33). When one journey begins, another one ends - J.Cole and his manager and lifelong friend are taking us on an audio journey through Cole's career (35:20), while the infamous Whoreible Decisions podcast has made an announcement that their show is coming to an end (47:46). Tyler The Creator's festival, Camp Flog Gnaw, was over the weekend, and the team discusses what festival fits their vibe the most (1:01:51). We also speak on Netflix not messing up a Beyonce Christmas due to low bandwidth, and its new live sport experience (1:07:29). Also discussed were the most overrated actors and standup comedians (Mal hates The Rock) (1:14:54). We have voicemails! The first one is from a guy who is bisexual and doesn't know how to tell his family (1:43:45), and the second is from a caller who Rory therapizes simply off the one question he asked about his mom and sister's family dynamic with him (1:56:30).

The minorities are back in charge! The gingerbread man is out of town on business so the YN’s (and an ON) are holding it down. Starting off with some light banter, after trying to defend Clay (from himself, per usual) and figuring out who is really in danger of these insane monkeys in the Carolinas, Julian poses a question to the room - which person would you remove off of social media permanently if given the choice (caveat - Meek Mill is not an available answer on the board) (13:11). We try to figure out the reason for people’s public emotional crash outs, and it leads to a conversation about friends having underlying feelings, and people having a hard time processing joy (16:47). Kehlani has been under heavy scrutiny due to a nasty custody battle with her child’s father - we go over the available evidence and give opinions on how co-parenting with the wrong person could ruin your life (49:15). SZA has a new album coming, and Mal shares a recent conversation he had with her (1:08:48). We have voicemails! One guy needs advice on how to handle his 'scaring-the-niceyoungwomen' friend (1:16:50) and leads to a convo about wanting to hear someones thoughts during intercourse, and the second is from a guy who discovered Jay Z later in life and is convinced he’s trash (1:29:24). Oh, and update - the Knicks still suck.
