Dante Ferrigno, creator of the Ferrigno Freedom YT Channel, Lion Diet success story and personal carnivore coach.
At the time of this recording, Dante was 51 years old.  When he turned 48 years old in November of 2020, he was in a bad place physically, mentally, and spiritually.

At 6’1” tall and 285 lbs. He was overweight and had high blood pressure for which he was taking lisinopril, hydrochlorothiazide, and one other medication.  He was also on prescription strength Omeprazole for GERD symptoms, testosterone cypionate for low-T, Levocetirizine for severe allergies, and taking a vast number of supplements for better health.

Dante had been trying to eat better by avoiding bread and junk foods as much as he could, but he was falling way short in retrospect. The main issue was with his gut area.

Dante would wake up every morning in a type of pain that he can only describe as piercing pain, and then there was this feeling like it was sucking the life out of him, much like a blackhole captures light.  He also suffered from chronic insomnia, chronic constipation, and a few other aches and pains linked to inflammation.

But just before his birthday he started following Jordan Peterson and his story about his all-meat diet.  Dante credits Peterson’s encouragement in helping him get back on his feet mentally.  Now he’s 100 pounds lighter and taking ZERO medications. I’m sure you’ll enjoy his amazing story.

Dr. Gordon Crozier best-selling author of Heal Your Cells, Save Your Life
I first read Dr. Crozier's first book years ago and you'll hear me mention the opening line of the book on this episode. I had never heard of someone contemplating such drastic action to try to alleviate their pain and suffering.

Luckily, Dr. Crozier didn't go that route, and we have his wisdom, expertise, and practice in Florida to be grateful for even considering such an operation. Dr. Crozier is truly someone that took all that pain and fear and transformed it into the next phase of his amazing life.

Dr. Crozier takes integrative medicine a step farther by using genetic testing to develop a unique treatment plan for every one of his patients. Genetic testing allows Dr. Crozier to get to the root of illness and disease by examining his patients on a cellular level. Instead of using a cookie cutter approach to treatment, he allows your genes to tell him exactly what your body needs to heal.

Dr. Crozier then uses that information to recommend a combination of IV therapies, supplements, nutrition, and other natural therapies. Dr. Crozier has successfully treated a wide array of conditions and diseases, including chronic fatigue, tick-borne disease, parasitic infection, and mold (and other) toxicity.

He has also been enormously successful in reducing the symptoms of autism and ADD/ADHD in children. His underlying philosophy is to “optimize the body”. In his spare time, Dr. Crozier joins his wife Michelle as an active member in his local church and as a compassionate caregiver and volunteer in his community.

Sina McCullough, PhD, expert in Nutrition, Disease Reversal, Functional Medicine and co-host of the Beyond Labels podcast.
I've suffered from fatigue in my life but not to the extent that I didn't have the energy to even lift the sheet off of my body while in bed. You'll hear that story from Dr. Sina McCullough and others, as well as how she came back from the brink to eventually heal her body.

That is her core message when you get right down to it, how the body has this amazing ability to heal itself, if you only pay attention, aid it in its process and let it do its work.

Dr. McCullough is the creator of the online program "GO WILD: How I Reverse Chronic & Autoimmune Disease," which teaches people how to reverse chronic and autoimmune diseases in a step-by-step manner.

Dr. McCullough is an expert in Nutrition, Disease Reversal, Functional Medicine, Exercise Physiology, and Energy Medicine, as well as a certified Natural Healer™, Master Herbalist, and Gluten Free Society Practitioner. She is the author of two books: HANDS OFF MY FOOD and BEYOND LABELS, which was co-authored with Joel Salatin from Polyface Farm.

Dr. McCullough is the co-host and co-producer of the Beyond Labels Podcast alongside Joel Salatin. She also hosts a cooking show titled Intuitive Cooking with Dr. Sina and writes for The Epoch Times. She earned a PhD in Nutritional Biology and a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior with a minor in Exercise Physiology from the University of California at Davis.

She also taught Biochemistry and Bioenergetics at UC Davis. Prior to becoming a homeschool mom, she was the Director of Research and Development for a nutraceutical company. Dr. McCullough nearly died from an autoimmune disease; however, through the grace of God, she was able to fully heal without the use of medication. Now she is dedicated to helping others find their second chance.

Frank Scannapieco, Professor of Oral Biology at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Frank A. Scannapieco, D.M.D., PhD. joins me in this very candid conversation about the connection between our oral health and our overall health. And yes, there is a connection between our dental hygiene and a host of diseases that they're just beginning to scrape the surface on.

Frank Scannapieco, SUNY Distinguished Professor of Oral Biology, has an international reputation in the field of oral biology. His research interests have included studies of basic mechanisms of dental plaque (biofilm) formation, and implications for health and disease. He is also a pioneer in studies connecting oral and systemic diseases such as pneumonia, COPD, diabetes and cancer. A member of the University at Buffalo faculty since 1991. Dr Scannapieco served as the Chair of the Department of Oral Biology from 2004 to 2022. Over his career, he has mentored numerous junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate, dental and college students.

He was awarded a number of research grants over the course of his career, edited several books and journal supplements, and has published more than 170 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.

A fellow of the American Association of Dental Research, Scannapieco has received several awards, including the State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities, Distinguished Scientist Award in Oral Biology from the International Association for Dental Research, the William J. It was my honor to have Mary back and this time, since it is Mother's Day 'month', I wanted her to share more stories of her mom.

Sadly, Mary lost her mother suddenly late last year, but she holds her memories in her heart and Mary's laughter, along with her husband Ted and son Ben, have been a source of comfort to her.

Brian Sanders, host of the top 5 nutrition podcast Peak Human and filmmaker behind the documentary Food Lies.
In my conversation with Brian, we talk about how the passing of both of his parents made him rethink everything that he thought he knew about food and how our systems are set up.

It was this quest if you will, that made him leave his tech job and start to do his own soul searching and researching that eventually lead him to start to work on the documentary Food Lies to try to explain some of the myths as well as educate himself and others along the way about big food and the food industry in general.

Brian Sanders is the filmmaker behind the Food Lies documentary, host of the top 5 nutrition podcast Peak Human, and an international speaker. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He’s the founder of Sapien Center, a popular health club in Austin. He also works to spread the awareness of regenerative agriculture and increase access to well-raised animal products through his nationwide meat & body care company Nose to Tail.
