Whether you’re currently in testing season, just finished testing, or about start, it’s very easy to fall into the trap of feeling defined by a test score. In this episode Hope and Wade discuss things that truly define an educator (and it’s so much more than just a test score). We reached out to the Get Your Teach On community of educators to find out what you think define an educator, and we wanted to share some of those responses with you.Â
We have both lived in many seasons of life where we mistake busy for successful. But busy doesn’t = effective. As we head into the end of the year or the end of a season, we are often flooded by reflection – what worked? What failed? What will I change for next year? But instead of continuing to stack onto your plate, let’s work to eliminate, prioritize, and plan to execute more…better.
