Meet Joe, a sports star who has played in World Cup finals but who is now on a new mission: to meet fascinating people doing the most remarkable jobs. Meet Tom Fordyce, who can think of nothing more enjoyable than going along with him.
Joe, Tom and Producer Ryan are back together to discuss how we grow this shambles of a podcast. There is some pressing bin chat on the agenda, as the emails have been flooding regarding the various recycling colours... but is there a show growing solution? The team also discuss the idea of young people dressing up as Joe for world book day, an uncomfortable urinal encounter at Chatham Services, and producer Ryan gets himself in trouble with the neon sign situation.

This week we're putting on our Ant-Man suits and shrinking down super small with John, the Micro Engineer. He makes tiny things. Like seriously tiny. But why do we need things to be so small? He brings in his normal size bag of tiny tricks to show us how small micro really is and almost brings Joe to tears with the smallest Valencia ice lolly the world has (probably) ever seen.
But don't get on the wrong side of him. Because if he wanted to, he could probably take over the world with special super tiny spy gadgets?

We are back at The Clapham Grand for another episode of Things People Did, who is probably the first person to ever leave Joe Marler sweating and lost for words. Stephen worked in a supermarket for 6 years, a job he describes as 'the best ever', he licked envelopes for a week and worked as a TV runner, where he lost his mind making Cheryl Cole a cup of tea. We'll be honest, this episode is pure filth and you will love it.

Our guest today is TV royalty, and one of the cleverest person we've ever had on the show - it's Richard Osman! He is here to tell us all about how game shows work, including why 'Deal or No Deal' basically sums up human nature, why The Traitors is deeply flawed, and why he wishes he had created 'The Weakest Link'. We also ask him to help us create our own game show, which goes terribly, and he has a quizzing showdown with out very own Mastermind, Joe Marler.

Our guest this week is Sophie Darlington, who might just have the best job in the world. She is a wildlife cinematographer, and has worked on pretty much every massive nature and David Attenborough documentary you can think of. She has filmed incredible species in their natural habitats, including lions, penguins, bears and killer whales. She has seen incredible things, but we also learn about the unglamorous sides of the job, including being stuck in a hide for 27 hours with no toilet, and having to eat frozen cucumber sandwiches whilst not getting trampled by elephants.

This is Things People Did, live at the Clapham Grand, and we have a belter of a guest - comedian Maisie Adam! She tells us all about her jobs before coming a comedian, including the time she was a waitress and dropped a gravy boat on a bride, working in an ice cream van and eating all the flakes, and the time she worked as a Christmas Elf for a Mr and Mrs Claus who were father and daughter.

Is there another podcast that could make a chat about coloured bins interesting? If you're into in that sort of thing, you'll love this episode. Our guest is Phil, who has been a bin man since he was 19. He tells us about the pranks you used to be able to pull before Ring doorbells came along, the worst smelling items he's ever experienced, and about the weird things he's found in peoples rubbish. He also tells us how the rude customers he experiences, and how people still look down on bin men to this day, but without them we would be screwed. We're a fan of Phil, and you will be too.

Joe, Tom and Producer Ryan are back for another committee meeting, to discuss how we actually grow this show. It's been a positive month for the podcast, with stellar guests and upward movement in the charts... but have we got a neon sign yet? The team also go through some listener emails and applications, including an intimate wax specialist, a stunt driver who knows Boyzone, and Beyonce's wi-fi engineer.

This episode will make you fall in love with libraries, that's a fact. Our guest is Lara, who is not your stereotypical librarian, in the sense that she doesn't spend her days telling people to 'ssshhhhh' or chasing people for fines. In this episode we discuss how libraries have changed the world, what the best excuses people have given for not returning a book, and 'that' aisle that is in every library where people get up to no good. Joe also shares his knowledge on books, which is basically The Hungry Caterpillar and a made up one from 'The Mummy'.
