Terrance speaks to the entertainment aspect of the fight vs the sport. This leads to a conversation about Netflix taking on live events and the announcing of Beyonce to perform at the Halftime Show on Christmas Day. The guys give thoughts on this and also ask if this performance puts pressure on Kendrick Lamar as he’s set to perform at the Super Bowl. The guys speak to the wave of celebrities that are announcing that they are leaving Twitter. Terrance highlights Blue Sky and talks about the alternatives to the app as well as the things that lead to this. This leads to a conversation about Politics in sports as the Trump Dance has become a go to celebration for conservative NFL players. They speak to the hypocrisy and also speak on the performative history of the NFL. The “35 and Ticking” chapter highlights Denzel Washington as he hints toward retirement. The guys continue the conversation about the idea that you have to be successful by a certain age. They counter this by highlighting all that Denzel didn’t and did do before and after the age of 35. Lastly, with the Rock’s “Red One” only doing 25 million on a budget of 250, they speak to the changes in the industry and how stardom is no longer enough to sell a film.

    On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the guys start with Donald Trump winning the election. Terrell sympathizes with Black Women, and Terrance tries to make sense of the way forward. They then recap the week, but have some insightful conversation about the millenial social media arc. They speak to Rihanna’s recent comments at a show where she says God had different plans for her beyond music. Terrance’s favorite director Quentin Tarantino took shots at the Dune films. Terrell defends Denis Villeneuve and Terrance speaks to the truth in what was said. With Thug’s tweet and delete, Terrell asks Terrance for thoughts on Thug potentially NOT being good with Gunna. This leads Terrance to speak to his issue with Thug’s tweet. Terrance then uses the Weeknd’s video announcement with Apple to highlight the small windows we get into our future. They talk the evolution of VR, AI Teachers and more. They cover some specific nominations for the Grammys that was released this past week. Chance and a Choice and Course of Action make returns this week, as well as picks for movies to watch this week!

With the oldest woman in the world passing at 115 years old, Terrance and Terrell talk about time and talk about the many different people that didn’t reach accomplishments until 40+.     On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the guys start with a usual recap of the Week. They start with a conversation about not knowing any Detectives. Terrance then highlights something cool he found out about a few podcast listeners. The guys then speak to whether your Best Man can cry at your Wedding. Terrance then asks a random ass would you rather question but also gives an update on Mimi. They then get to Tommy Richmans comments on hiphop, and speak to how hiphop is used as a vehicle.     On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the guys start with a recap of the weekend. They right away speak to finding out about the death of Rich Homie Quan. Terrance salutes his influence and speaks to how he never got the flowers he deserved. This leads to a conversation about hiphop and the pattern of death and trauma that fans have to deal with as we lose artists way too early.
