Survivor Sarah Ransome's depostition reveals more of the shocking abuse she suffered at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The sworn statement was made in early 2017 for the civil case of defamation whistleblower Viriginia Giuffre lodges against Maxwell. This was a case Maxwell settled.
The deposition is 469 pages long and gives insight into the trauma faced by survivors, both at the hands of Epstein and Maxwell, but also when facing lawyers.

In imposing the sentence, US Judge Alison Nathan said Maxwell did not appear to express remorse or accept responsibility.

“Maxwell directly and repeatedly and over the course of many years participated in a horrific scheme to entice, transport and traffic underage girls, some as young as 14, for sexual abuse by and with Jeffrey Epstein," Judge Nathan said.

"The damage done to these young girls was incalculable."

Ghislaine Maxwell's legal team has uploaded two separate documents in the lead-up to her June 28 sentencing hearing. They are complaining she is just a patsy because Jeffrey Epstein died in custody.
In defending herself, she points to alleged Epstein co-conspirators that should be punished (Sarah Kellen) and gratuitously mentions two former partners, Gateway founder Ted Waitt and her estranged husband Scott Borgerson.
She also claims she met Epstein after her father's death, totally ignoring the evidence tabled in her trial last year that clearly showed she had a relationship with Epstein seven months before her father's death aboard the Lady Ghislaine. Plus, she lived in New York City when her Dad died.

Once the friend of the rich and famous, she now awaits her fate in a New York City prison.

During the four-week trial, the government alleged: “Ghislaine Maxwell made her own choices. She committed crimes hand in hand with Jeffrey Epstein. She was a grown woman who knew exactly what she was doing.”

Moreover, she was found guilty by a jury of five out of the six charges, including sex trafficking a minor.

Maxwell’s sex trafficking charge may see a maximum prison term of 40 years. At her age, she will probably die in jail.

So what will life be like for her in a Federal facility?
